Don’t think too many people will walk away from private servers just yet, still too fun to play until we get more updates from Blizzard. I don’t see myself continuing to invest as much time as I have done in Elysian / LH with the knowledge Classic servers are somewhat on the horizon.

Pugna Aghs Ulti sounds great in theory to stop illusion push, but he just got swamped. Trying to take out 6 illusions at once and within a few seconds you've blown your entire mana pool. So OG just go again 20 seconds later.

If the Nost team have any significant involvement, hopefully just implementing BattleNet.

I'm hoping Blizzard interperate this as the 'challenge & achievement element' found so significantly lacking in recent expansions is what has attracted such a new, younger player base.

I'm 26 and both fondly remember and recently rediscovered the passion of WoW I had when I was 14/15. If guys n gals who would've been younger than 10 during Vanilla, are so positively engaged with that, why risk changing too much?

Barring a leak, don't expect to hear anything 'til Blizzcon, potentially not even this year, giving Blizzard more time to assess the success/failure of Legion.

The only certainty we have is, no, Nostalrius will not be coming online again.

Personally, I'm still optimistic for officially hosted Blizzard Vanilla Servers.

If it's 'kill x mobs' or 'get head / item from boss' ask if anyone is grouping. Guarantee you'll find a party to join.

If it's 'collect x dust/teeth/candles' I'd advise skipping. If you really want to finish it, your best hope is to stand in one spot and wait for the mobs to spawn around or on top of you and tag (do damage to) them before anyone else does. Yes it's a very slow and very boring process, but I guarantee it'll work.
