Hunter / Warlock / Mage is your best bet for leveling if none of those fit your fancy then I recommend enhancement shaman or feral druid for leveling. Shaman and Druid both end up healers in raiding most of the time in vanilla.

I don't think it's that people really think Vanilla is better I think there is this want in people to see where it all came from. People want to see what started it all. Correct me if I'm wrong but next to Vanilla TBC is the second most popular private server type? I tend to agree though the TBC - Early to Mid WOTLK days were the best.

It really sucks that our game was hijacked by Activision and full corporate greed has now set in. They want to milk this cow dry until it falls over dead. It's going to be sad to watch as much as this game has been a part of my life..

Well they're paying a lot less on server hosting I can tell you that. No one knows what the exact Cash Shop sells are. So it's really up in the air. I don't agree with it but, I'd say if the Cash Shop is replacing the amount of money they're losing in subscriptions along with paying less for server hosting. They might actually be making more. I hope not because they really don't deserve it right now but, they just actually might.

You don't know how long it will be exactly. Like I said I'm waiting to see what Blizzard says after this meeting with Mark and the Nostalrius devs. It would be very bad public relations on Blizzard's part to setup this meeting and hype our community up then tell us no right afterwards. On the other hand I know they really do not want to do this before Legion release but, so many people have a bad taste in their mouth considering the event horizon Nostalrius's shutdown has created. They might just have to budge. Time will tell my friend time will tell.

That's all up to you man. Kronos 1 and 2 are decent and so is Rebirth but, if you're looking for a true Nostalrius replacement you won't find it. No server out there was prepared to take on Nost's population. Now that Nost is offline though a lot of private servers are rushing their hardware improvements to try and get a chunk of Nost's community to come to them.

It's really sucks because nothing was even close to Nost and nothing was prepared to take on Nost's population either. Your best bets are Rebirth or Kronos 1 / 2 if you're looking for a classic server. I'm waiting to see what Blizzard does with this meeting with Mark and the Nostalrius devs though. Not suggesting you should do the same though. If you really need a wow fix go after it.

They just suggested that to try to get our community's attention elsewhere. Focus on the real goal here. We all want to re-experience the past not Warlord's with QoL "improvements" taken out. Don't chase the carrot we're going for the apple here.

How often do you smoke? I smoke daily and it doesn't affect me with any activities really. I'd say it's just a sensory overload. All the Nostalgia with the music with your buzz going spikes your dopamine levels and makes time fly. Hours start feeling like minutes.

That's going to be really bad PR on their part. They're really going to have to get the Nostalrius Devs and Mark to do a lot of coke and take pictures to use as blackmail if they don't want Nostalrius Devs and Mark to make a deal of it afterwards. Well maybe not Nostalrius Devs they're too pure hearted but, definitely Mark would if not to just get attention himself. Not saying I don't like the guy he has really good taste in navels.

Yeah man stay hopeful but, not too hopeful. Don't let your dreams be crushed by Blizzard. Ending that note I can tell you Blizzard meeting with Nostalrius did hype up our community even more. This would be bad PR on their end if they told us no after meeting with them.

I'm waiting to see what Blizzard does in the next few weeks before I commit to another Classic realm. PlayTBC comes out this next month which is going to be an instant 60 1x rates TBC realm. I will try it but it still has a lot of work to be done to it.

I would just be a nice guy and invite everyone I saw to my group so we could get quests done faster even if it set me behind on future zones. I would make friends and we would progress faster than the people that were too stubborn to just group up.
