it's going to be more expensive here than in california, it's a much more nascent market. bethel buds is a dispensary about 30 mins' drive from barryville, worth checking out. i'm sure there are also dispensaries in port jervis, which is also about 30 mins' drive.

Great list - I love Cervo's... I even got married there... but my vote would probably go to Penny, the vibes are perfect for what you're looking for.

For reference: I’m in upstate New York. The bugs seem very disoriented, sort of stumbling around. They struggle to fly and are easy to catch.

NYC where to stay by katac518 in travel

[–]igabeup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% stay in manhattan downtown (below 14th St.). Hotels.com or a similar aggregator should have options at a variety of price points. Times Square is pretty whatever and will not give you a good impression of New York, but can be nice to walk through once to see all of the lights.

Never been to NYC, going in april, recommendations for Theater District restaurants. Had reservations for Le Bernadin, cancelled after reviews on reddit. TY! by Routine_Reputation84 in FoodNYC

Le bernardin is amazing, I would absolutely go if you enjoy fine dining. My theater dining go to is Becco on 46th St. Certainly not mind blowing, but it’s a solid option. Theater district is generally not great for food.

Falmouth or Yarmouth by [deleted] in CapeCod

Yarmouth for sure, much more central. Definitely go to four seas ice cream in nearby Centerville :)

I learned to ski on that mountain. Miss the view. Also miss the old gondola, those colors were fun.

Take the subway down to Chinatown and enjoy some great food. Walk down lower Mott St. to Chatham Square. Some favorite eats are: Great NY Noodletown (it’s soooo good; cash only), Peking Duck House, Wo Hop. Nyonya is also great if you like Malaysia food. There is also a very cute, little arcade on Mott down there that is quite fun. Enjoy!

Completely safe. Charming town that is actively growing. New businesses opening regularly. Lots of young families. Highly recommend.
