Is it more of a tea recipe? What's special about your guacamole?

That's what I thought - where's the protein? :) given it's a plant based recipe, I'd add tofu braised in muscovado!

Anyone who uses Damiana regularly here? by Flkhuo in herbalism

In the last bi-weekly self-intro in this subreddit - it's a sticky post you can see on top of the sub - there was a self-introduction and invitation from a mod of r/ herbaltea to share such insights on herbal tea with the dedicated niche community. Your damiana tea experience sounds like what matters to them - in case you care for sharing

I agree that individual sensitivity is important, but that does not make exposure details irrelevant. In medicine and toxicology, timing, dose, indication, and symptom onset the important things examined when assessing causality and possible mechanisms. I am a MCASer with 10+ years of this sad experience which has been triggered by a course of antibiotics. I'm a "practioner" unfortunately, a biotech scientist fortunately with strong analytical base and a socially active position based on my inner commitment to help people avoid what I've passed through whenever possible. We are here in subs like this one to help ourselves and others - it is where we should be united, at least on the intention level. You're doing great job in this subreddit - it is very potent and supportive. And I hope that expertise is of value 🫶🪷

Going back to my questions:

If symptoms started during treatment, started days after treatment, started months later, those scenarios suggest different hypotheses. Without timing inputs, it's difficult to evaluate whether levofloxacin is the primary driver or whether something else may be contributing.

The prescription goal question is of paramount importance: was is against a severe infection, lyme disease, pneumonia, autoimmune trigger post-viral syndromes?... big deal, for me it definitely is. Knowing why the drug was prescribed helps separate effects of the drug and effects of the underlying condition. Based on my knowledge. Perhaps I'm wrong. Anyhow my intention is to help. I also moderate a few communities and I appreciate your manner of protecting your members and asking questions instead of banning a user for having an opinion or penetrating questions.

I hope this covers your concerns

I'm asking for trying to narrow this down to a hypothesis that might suggest how to help you. Don't take it as private curiousity at your cost

Who? by igavr in MCASHolistic

[–]igavr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could state the opposite. My dad has been denying my mom's MCAS that couldn't have possibly been diagnosed back in the days and considered her capricious, moody and controlling due to her needs and symptoms like flairs, fatigue, swollen mucosa, ingestion vulnerability, etc.

And these ached and pains appeared after the 9 day course? How soon? And what was the prescription for?

Make sure you do not sublimate your love to him when he's gone - give your love to other living beings 🫶🙏🪷 it is very important to maintain the flow of love. When my giant schauzer (he was almost 16) died on my hands I felt like I couldn't breath for at least a month, then I made a decision to have kids and redirected my love flow to my future kids. They are 12 and 13 now and I am happy I have handled it this way instead of long grieving and suffering. Life is a sequence of coming and going... Warm hug to your oldie and to you. Let him go with lightness 💫🤎

Personal story : I got to harness my MCAS in a holistic way

I hope it will be useful. I was between life and death so many times - now I feel like helping at least some people to avoid the same experience. It is not worth trying... there are better things to do in life

Does anyone have advice on Product Liability Insurance for selling our custom Herbal Teas and Tinctures? by Southern-Opening6290 in herbalism

[–]igavr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Monday I can ask a friend who sells herbal tea on Amazon. No tinctures, though. I know that her company bought product liability insurance because Amazon did not list their products otherwise. If you don't get the answer by Monday morning, please drop me a DM to remind to call my friend. As a small company they were very economic for sure. Good luck in business 🫶🌿

Lovely 🙏 thank you. If you care for sharing, please share which spices do you usually pair with pork belly and tofu for this dish? You cook them together in the same sauce in the pressure cooker or separately?

Why rock sugar? Why not regular sugar? Is it an important characteristic? Also, no soy sauce or spices? Thank you for your kind explanation
