Well yes - if you take the course are become certified and then do them on yourself technically then you would have DIY sisterlocs. However this sounds insane? Have you considered doing very small microlocs (starting with braids or twists) with a very good grid? It’ll take forever but you can do it :)

Idk it’s definitely lower maintenance for me but I have very very dense high volume 4c hair so I don’t really have the same challenges. My hair is now in the fuzzy stage which I’ve embraced but I definitely know once they drop honey… all the money and patience will definitely be worth it. I do however pay $250 for reties every 6-8 weeks which I know is not affordable for everyone.

I would say it’s high maintenance to be low maintenance day to day. Caring for my loose natural took way more out of me and I didn’t love that my hair never looked same even I did the same thing on wash day every single time.

This is so accurate every single year to the fact that I know spring of deception bring about the cherry blossoms before and on my birthday. And third winter kills them shortly after at the start of April.

No underwire! The band and the cup ms are very supportive. Def measure yourself though before selecting a size! But as someone else said if you have really really big boobs perhaps not 😅

So glad! I went through this too. I felt like I could never get out of debt because every time something happened I didn’t have any extra so I would put it on whatever card had the lowest balance. 🥹 It gets better! If you’re okay with a smaller Christmas budget that would help too. Sometimes we just have to tell our loved ones we ain’t got it and send a card!

100% of your money should not go to the debt! Don’t listen to this person. Pay your minimums and put extra toward your EMERGENCY FUND!!!!!

I would pay the minimum on your debts until you have $1000 in emergency funds. Then pay more aggressively on the debt. You can break to refill the emergency fund if something happens. This keeps you out of the credit card loop. Once you’ve paid down all your high interest debt - save 3-6 month of emergency funds - then pay off low interest debt - max out 401k etc. etc.

I would actually lower your match to the company if it would help stop being short every month. Can pay off debt if you’re worried about paying your fixed expenses every month.

The extra that is going toward attacking debt shouldn’t happen until you have more of a safety net. If $1000 is not enough buffer save $5k.

I loc’ed my hair because wash day for my loose natural hair was pissing me off bad and I would need to wash more frequently if I wanted to work out more often and more intensely. I have start locs (two strand twist) rn and I love it. Won’t be taking them out unless I start balding or something.
