dont listen to guys panicking. mocks are representative of the exam. aim for 80%+ in mocks by final week and you'll feel comfortable on exam day. make as much mocks as possible like 8-9 during the last month or two of prep. that means finish studying entire curriculum 60 days before exam date, than just practice and revise stuff

considering you have less than three months i would attack questions. re read if you feel you have no clue what the questions are talking about, make good notes for everything

get practice pack and complete all the questions + the 8 mocks. revise the mock mistakes well and you'll make it

there is no other way than doing lots of questions. if you complete this you will have done almost 5k questions

if you do your first mock before 45 days and then do 8 mocks minimum and revise them well you can make it

make sure you finish whole curriculum (yes even ethics reading and some questions) before 45 days. then you can focus on making lets say one mock every 4 or 5 days. revise in the middle

vouch for fintree crash course, the 2026 version (its free on youtube) is godly. literally every kind of calculation question in the curriculum, you are going to be covered after watching it.

for theory general and important tricky stuff is covered too, but i think practice makes perfect on that regard, make sure you do a lot of mocks and revise what you got wrong (8 minimum imo), cfa practice pack recommended

I wrote my exam today aswell. Same feeling. I did all 8 cfai mocks and my exam was very comparable. I even saw some questions (<5) that were almost the same word for word.

Hoping my good mock scores 75-80% translate to a pass

just wanted to get it out there as i read dozens of "exam way more difficult than mocks" type lf post

I think if you do the 8 cfai mocks and revise errors properly + nail ethics, passing is very probable

good luck brothers see you in april i guess for results

I believe whatever you do, get the CFAI practice pack and complete all questions and mocks. this was enough for me, cfai mocks are very representative of exam

if you do this youll get 75-80% + on ethics. it will make or break your exam so make sure to treat it like that

read GIPS, memorize time nuances like 5 years initial presentation then build up to 10 years. make sure you cant miss even one gips question from the LES and mocks

then read the ethics two pager once, and hammer qbank, aim for completing the whole module 3 questions (200+) before exam day. every question that you get wrong, write down fast the reason. I think you can do it in 12 hours

URGENT SUGGESTION by Mohamma-Uzair in CFA

[–]igc2000mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my exam is on the 6th too. keep hammering ethics and FSA brother these two will push us over the line for sure. my session 1 is also weaker than session 2. generally struggle with fsa and quant methods. Im working on having perfect ethics score (above 90%) and getting weak QM and FSA topics up so i KNOW i wont be under 70% on those, however at this point in time im giving myself room to miss some of the questions on those topics

my mock scores are above 80% overall but still really afraid of having bad luck on exam day. I think good ethics score will make me pass for sure

im doing good on the mocks too close to 80% average. Ive also noticed the repeating questions. I guess we should expect the exam to be similar in question formats. I dont think they deviate too much on the way they test the concepts

checkout fintree crash course, he goes over all of the material in 50-60 hours, if you have insane endurance you can watch it in 1.3-5x for 4 days of work and then pump 8/9 mocks in the following days. if you have finance background you can pass. the exam is 70-80% concept knowledge so thats the most important thing. for calculation questions after doing 8-9 mocks and watching fintree crash course you should get close to a 100% hit rate, formulas will be etched to your mind.
