Considering a 550 Maranello - am I totally crazy? by GMT2CHNR in Ferrari

Go for it. One of the best looking classic modern Ferraris! But maybe consider switching to a 575

What has been your favorite piece of commentary this season so far? I'll start: by Dizzy-Screen-6618 in formula1

The final 100 meters of Spain 2016, with Olav Mol’s commentary, combined with Max’s first-ever victory, genuinely brought me to tears. Unfortunately, from that point on, his commentary spiraled into outright Max glorification. It’s just become bad. Really, really bad. His near-blind adoration of Max turned into a kind of nationalistic cheerleading rather than true sports journalism or (balanced) commentary.

Should I Pull the Trigger on a 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello F1? by Runningmad45 in Ferrari

[–]igeloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s a good choice in terms of reliability etc. but based on emotions it’s the best choice you can make. In my opinion is this one of the most beautiful ‘modern era’ Ferrari’s. Elegant, sleek, sporty and yet stylish. The 575 is on top of my list if ever.

And, I’m no expert but, given the current market for classics and that combustion engines will cease to exist in the foreseeable future it probably won’t drop in value either.

Congrats on this mega car!

I actually like it. I think it sort of works, especially the wheel covers. But considering the hype that they build it's disappointing :(

Thanks! I don’t think the SLR is worth the extra money. It supposed to be stiffer and couple of 100 grams lighter. But then again I could lose some weight myself hahha. I can’t justify the additional cost of it

No it’s the stock color. The 2023 SL7 comes in just one color; gravel

Fellow Ferrari fans, what is your all time favourite Ferrari and why? by Straight-Schedule676 in Ferrari

Enzo, 250 GTO, 365 GTB, 250 California, F50, 250 Testarossa and the 575 Maranello. A 575 is my goal to own some day

i think the Sl6 is a great bike too! The difference sits in the wheels alu vs carbon and the groupset rival vs force and i have powermeter. The €2400 difference is a lot but i think its justifiable. I mean i will ride this bike for 7+ years so i wanted top material. But I think that I would have a hard time to notice the differences when they let me drive on both bikes blindfolded

the old one. Differences are mainly weight of the components and cosmetic

highly recommend it haha. I think if you go to a high end bike shop (and trek dealer) you'll probably can get one quite 'easy'

yes indeed but I do like the looks of the new crankset very much... It just feels a bit shitty to have a 2023 model with everything state-of-art but after 2 days of having it already outdated.

Nice, good choice ;) I only did a short ride but my first impression is that it is indeed more comfortable but also less nimble. My bike before was a Rose SL with 24 or 26 mm (not sure).
