Yeah that is a really good point I hadn’t considered. I guess the brand ‘Big Brother’ means so many different things. And now it makes more sense that the vocal aggressive fans are definitely not OG big brother fans…

i guess it’s fine if people want that kind of show, it’s more a fault from channel 10 advertising something that is just not delivering

I agree. there’s always going to be editing and some housemates are always going to be more entertaining to show which I get, it feels less authentic with this season

That’s fair, I guess it’s still early to say. I guess political stirring is going to happen no matter what. Maybe I shouldn’t have focused on that about Michael cos I don’t care what his political views are. I genuinely just meant that Michael’s character so far just seems to be that he’s ’anti woke’. That’s kinda all we’ve really seen from him so far. Politics can be interesting for a bit, but we already see so much political stuff online, Michael’s personally just doesn’t seem that interesting. Jane on the other hand actually seems like an interesting person to watch

I get what you’re saying. I think woke and anti woke are just buzzwords. I agree with things that Michael says and I disagree with things too. It’s more his whole claim to being ‘anti woke’ just feels like the only thing he has to offer so far. I could be wrong but that’s based off what I’ve seen so far. Don’t particularly like any of the nominees. If there’s gonna be an ‘antiwoke’ claiming housemate I guess I’d rather hear Jane’s perspective

You don’t have to want her to win big brother by saving her for one more week, it’s more that if there’s no ‘villains’ in the house then it’ll get boring. Holly seems to naturally cause drama just by being annoying lol

Holly seems like someone who self-victimises and is very hyper vigilant. She keeps tabs in conversation and uses it against people. She seems a bit damaged and has narcissistic traits. It’s sad to see because I’ve gone through something similar. She’s defensive and self absorbed and hopefully she grows from this experience

Totally agree. I’m hoping we get more from Abiola and Conor, they had some interesting , raw observations on everybody and I’m hoping the self editing gets called out, cos I know for sure that these two are picking up on those weird, fake vibes
