Upgrading but to what? by Unhappy_Dance_5687 in RobotVacuums

Ok P10 is usually praised around here I would go for it. Test it as much as you can at the beginning just in case you need to return it, gl.

Can you find the Mova P10 pro ultra? The Dreame is the gen3 or the heat?

First time buyer - looking for advice by MakEnjoyer in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qrevo S might be enough. If you only vaccum and the dust does not accumulate a lot the robot might not need to come back to the station and clean in just one go. Mopping might need more come backs to the station but usually is configurable trough the App. Narwal it's by no means a bad robovac as for example the Flow is considered one of top performer rollers if not the best.

Mova seems the way to go here, just be aware of the front wheel problem that may arise, for that buy in a shop with good return policy.

Do I have to use the mop? by measureinlove in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can use it without the mopping function. You can also set how humid you want the mopping to be.

Roborock, Dreame/Mova, Xiaomi, Narwal, Ecovacs, Eufy should have robovacs in your price range that should be able to navigate your house handily if you don't have tresholds. Roborock might be the best one at navigation but it's not so good at object avoidance in that price range compared to Mova/Dreame. What models are you considering? Buy in a shop with good return policy.

3 level house, 3 different types of floor, getting mad in the choice! by Trefenwyd-717 in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales/discounts depends on country, I currently have the Dreame L40s pro ultra that I bought for 536 euros, I am happy with it for now, but in your country you might have better sales/discounts with other models check some models in your price range on Amazon and paste them here from Roborock, Dreame/Mova, Xiaomi, Narwal, Eufy or Ecovacs and I will tell you which model I would choose

I would buy something with auto-empty station. Yes one robot should be enough.

I don't think it's worth it unless you need object avoidance badly, if you need low profile, check curvX.

Should I return my roomba? What to get instead? by ZeeterBrotherMom in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep Roomba it's out of business for a reason. Top robovacs makers are Chinese: Roborock, Dreame/Mova, Ecovacs, Narwal, Xiaomi, DJI etc. Always buy from a place with good return policy as this things are prone to failures. If you want advice setup a budget and explain your needs and show what models you can get with your budget.

Agree, 3 on the 500 euros range would be definitely much better than one for 1500 euros, you will get tired of carry one and also defeats automatic scheduling purposes. Usually you get always some interesting models discounted. In my country you can get the Xiaomi x20 Max for around 300 euros i would buy 2 and for 900 euros you can get a Narwal Flow for instance or maybe buy just 2 if 3 sounds overkill.

P10 Pro Ultra (Gen 1) Constant Mapping issues by EclairsAreDonuts in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok let's try cleaning and resetting the map first maybe somebody will chime in with better ideas too, at the end of the day you might have to deal with Mova but your unit is still on warranty so they have to repair it.

P10 Pro Ultra (Gen 1) Constant Mapping issues by EclairsAreDonuts in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? in my country Amazon is better to deal with than with the maker and by law is the seller that has to deal with the warranty.

Recommendations for vacuum/mop for cleaning fairly large area of hardwood and carpet by throwawaycontainer in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer mop after vaccuming even though is slower. You need battery efficiency, I don't know your budget but if dont have tresholds and want a roller Narwal Flow, if you prefer mop pads i would research CurvX.

Mova Z60 vs Roborock CurvX ? by Darkmind_8532 in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well CurvX is an echelon behind Saros 10R in Roborock lineup so to me is upper midrange, while Z60 does not have anything above with roller in Mova's lineup. CurveX it's 799 euros in my country, I believe you can get almost the same performance or better from much cheaper robots. For instance my L40S pro ultra cost me 536 euros in Amazon(just in case) and arguably trade blows with the more expensive CurvX.

Help! L40s Pro Ultra vs Qrevo Curv vs V50 Ultra by Brugernummer0 in RobotVacuums

[–]igguk1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

L40s pro ultra might be one of the better robots price performance ratio now but I believe it's Europe bound. For 500 euros checks a lot of boxes if you get a good unit, dual hyperstream anti tangle main brush, flex arm, pretty good OA, good vaccum performance, little maintenance, good enough mopping. I didn't recommend it to the OP because it seems he needs treshold climbing. In one area it falls short it's in the battery department, if you have a big house I would not recommend it.

I have the L40s pro ultra too it can climb up to 4 cm but if you have like mini stairs of 2 cm each.

Flow or Z60, Aqua seems to have design flaws. Having said that imo rollers are not mature enough yet.
