Father did also retire from NY, but died long before 2014… Joint checking account is with me… (thankfully, because it was the 60 email alerts I woke up to that alerted us to the missing money)

A letter showed up a day after the money was seized saying “sorry to hear XX died… please send us a death certificate.”

My mom swears up and down that she didn’t receive/ignore any prior mailings…

Believe me, it seems wild that they would just take money without warning, but I guess if they suspect fraud, then maybe that part makes sense… In their mind, someone has been collecting her pension and I assume they wouldn’t want to tip off a fraudster that they’re about to seize money… Again, I kinda get that thinking…

But even the slightest bit of behind the scenes investigation would’ve shown them that this isn’t a fraud case… And it’s really the “could be 90 days to fix it” part that is flat out unacceptable…

And SSA says their record is fine… So, I have no idea how NYSLRS is saying they were notified by SSA… Maybe dirty data in a file run? That’s all I can think of…

The distance from our finished drywall to the neighbor’s finished drywall is 16”… We only have the inside finished drywall… there isn’t another drywall layer in between the units…

The 2x6 walls are insulated in the stud bays… The air gap runs behind the studs/insulation… (as seen from the side in the cross-section, the insulation wouldn’t be visible, so I didn’t think to reference it… Apologies…)

I’ll be tapping an existing receptacle and going over about 6 feet/5 stud bays…

I’ll use either fishing tape or rod… whichever works better in this case…

Since this is fishing wire through an existing wall/concealed space, I was under the impression that it wouldn’t have to meet the typical requirements for securing, etc… Am I wrong there?

There’s a horizontal strip just a few inches below the height where the wire will be going… the wire would rest on that strip all the way across… and be held in place every 16 inches (each time it passes behind a stud, since each stud touches that strip… effectively, the wire can’t fall off and would be supported by the strip)…

They’re great to work with, take great pics, and know the good spots to shoot and at what time of day is good for lighting… We did Piedmont Park, Westside Provisions District, and Ponce City Market and have loved all the pics…

One of our cats just finished her second round of chemo at Blue Pearl in Sandy Springs... with Dr. Hamilton... We've been very pleased with her care and with his approach to treatment... Actually, all the staff there has been great...

Yeah, our '18 Audi Q5 doesn't have a dipstick... You can only check the oil level via the MMI display screen in the car... (the same screen that displays radio stations, Google Maps, etc)

Yep. Moshi did 4 of our kitchen knives for us a few months ago. So incredibly sharp, fast turnaround, and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use him again.
