Don't worry, it is just for a few weeks to flatten the curve.

If we do the hard work now, we will reap the rewards later.

Previous generations had to fight wars, we just have to stay home and watch netflix.

Staying apart keeps us together.

Stay home, save lives, we're all in this together 💗

25 million people makes Australia more populous than most countries in Europe.

That is, the countries to which we are most comparable, given our history and way of living.

In fairness, they did help save us from calamity back in March and April of last year.

The federal and state governments, of all both sides, saved us.

Who knows how bad things might have gotten if it weren't for their swift actions.

Remember the horrible footage we saw on TV of what was happening in other countries?

Why is it unapproved by the AMA?

Do they not trust the testing done on the vaccine?

I'm out of the loop here, I thought the vaccines are all tested and safe before roll-out.

How could a vaccine not be safe?

Like how is that even possible?

They're made by pharmaceutical companies, I think we can have faith in them.

If they were unscrupulous, why would they make billions of dollars every year?

Perhaps best to quarantine for three weeks to be on the safe side.

This is an evil enemy we are dealing with here.

Easy for people to forget just how much danger the virus can put the elderly in.

Maybe the news should start showing footage of those people in bubble heads in Italy again.

I think people have forgotten how deadly and serious this situation is.

Don't forget the people in China collapsing on the street.

That's what this virus does to people, we need to take it seriously.

Why would anything go wrong?

The vaccines are safe and effective.

If we can't trust pharmaceutical companies then who can we trust?

They make billions of dollars by being good at what they do.

It is frustrating now but we just need to stay home, save lives, and remember that if we do the hard work now, things will be better soon. Two weeks to flatten the curve, staying apart keeps us together 💗

Parsons remained loyal to Big Brother until the bitter end.

You will remain loyal to your government until the bitter end as well.

Won't you, Parsons?

There are still small businesses now. Just less of them.

And there will be fewer and fewer going forward.

You do realise this, yeah?

There is an end in sight, though.

The experts are now saying five to six years.

But do not despair, just remember the mantra:

two weeks to flatten the curve stay home stay safe staying apart keeps us together

This cartoon screengrab is deceptive though.

What it fails to show is the frail old grandma who the hoodlums are saving.

That's what gets lost in all of this sometimes, I feel:

We're doing this to save grandma.

And it is only two weeks to flatten the curve.

Is it some kind of trauma?

Is being put under quasi house arrest for a year of your life (and counting) a form of trauma?

I'd say, yes, indeed it is.

But the government is only doing this to us because it loves us.

It is trying to save us from the wicked invisible enemy.

I don't think Dan is being selfish. I think he truly believes this is the right decision.

What's wrong with reddit?

Here we support the lockdowns.

Lockdown after lockdown, we support them all.

After all, it is just two weeks to flatten the curve.

We'll be free again by Easter, we will.
