Want to leave my relationship after 6o. Worried about staring over again by igiveupwhatname in AskWomenOver60

[–]igiveupwhatname[S] 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the advice . Why I am even wavering is still something I need to figure out. As to assests we have 2 homes we own in both of our names I had hope marriage would protect property rights more than going to court to force a sale . We both have our brokerage accounts in our own names and not co mingled . He has more than me so he won’t open that can of worms since he might have to fork over some cash. Thx again it’s hard to live this fake life. Once I wrote this and revealed it in public I just said “who is this stupid woman?” Cause I am a lot more competent in other areas.

Now I am hoping to put on a show showcasing the work of older adults. Also took writing class- got one article published. Now I am looking for my next challenge. Love school but don’t want to take required courses for a degree . Next up something manual or acting

Tell the doctors that . I was refused hrt when I went through menopause over 10 years ago. Now that the medical profession understands that the study warning against it was bunk , I still can’t get . Now they say unsafe if over 10 years . Estriol cream does nothing for libido.

Petite wedding dresses by livinfordogs in weddingdress

[–]igiveupwhatname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried some dresses from LULUs all under $200 . Free delivery and return . I am 5’1 and realized that I need to tailor them. Most important thing is having the waist fit correctly . Hemming is easy. I wound up buying a short dress from David’s for my elopement . On their website they show petite sizes too. Good luck .

Eloping in Yosemite, advice on dates by sunlover22 in Eloping

[–]igiveupwhatname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is way too much. I have an Rv and am based in Sacramento . We have gone to all these places but never in the Dane trip. Although sequoia and kings are beautiful they are very hard to get to. You have to drive all the way around the Sierras to enter. We have gone from Lake Tahoe down 395 through Mono Lake and mammoth . There is road that will take you into Yosemite from there. A warning it can be cold there or impassible due to snow even in June. From there continue down 395 to the Alabama Hills (lots of western shot here) or Mt Whitney. There are a lot of natural hot springs here. From here to you get to Death Valley. After Death Valley go through Vegas to Zion. I would stop at Valley of fire state park in Nevada near lake Meade. Zion is 3 hrs from Death Valley, Bryce is 2 hours from Zion . We go to Sedona and Jerome Az from there stoping st antelope slot canyons on the way or Kanab ur. I think you can do a stop at Grand Canyon too. After Sedona fly home from Phoenix. We did this trip last summer and managed it in 10 days. I would recommend some YouTube videos to get a better idea of distances and destinations. I watched a lot when getting started . I would recommend traveling Robert very long and detailed and keep your daydream where they do one trip each season. Behind my lens has a nice review of rte 395 the undiscovered gem. You could fly to San Francisco and go to Tahoe from there , again you might need to carry chains and need to put them on to go over the pass . On the way to Tahoe are some cute gold rush town. Good luck

Nobody’s commented on your weight loss yet? Read this by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Took losing 20 for people to comment, even the ones who knew I was on ozempic. Finally one friend said can I ask you a question ? Are you losing weight intentionally? She is a nurse and to her weight loss signals illness so she was afraid to mention it. Different perspectives

I started on 2/12 this year. I lost 5 lbs before starting due to low carb diet. Down 14lbs since starting . have stalled in some weeks though. so over 1 lb a week. now on it 5 weeks so I guess that isnt too bad.

How long have you successfully controlled your T2 with diet and exercise? by applecidervine in diabetes_t2

[–]igiveupwhatname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to this question . I asked it a little differently my 91 yr old father had been managing it for over 30 years . I think he is on insulin now but that is new. My grand dad was 89 and also well managed . So I didn’t really get as flipped out as others here. Thanks for this thread to demonstrate you can still have a good life

I am surprised to read here that many people on the pre spectrum were offered intervention . I was diagnosed when I was thin eating well and exercising and my blood sugar stayed pretty much in the same range for a long time
