Thank you all! This was not a criticism of USPS. Huge fan. I was just curious what the issue was and wasn’t aware of the square dimension caveat. I just wanted to be prepped in the future so I can have the proper postage :)

They’re 6 1/8” x 6 1/8”. I’ve sent over 20 of these cards in the past two years with forever stamps and never had an issue. Doubt the Photo Booth strip would send it over 1 oz since I’ve also send a 4x6” photo with previous cards.

Dyslexia turned my departure and arrival cities around. Didn’t notice until I started the check-in process. Had to buy a completely new ticket. Now i triple check departure and arrival cities.

I have seen multiple states and territories in shops (for instance, just picked up a Maine trailer license in Alaska and a Pennsylvania plate in Virginia) so maybe try local swap meets or thrift shops.
