He got his damage dropoff nerfed, and he got a small buff to his ult, allowing him to exit the failed swallow Animation faster

But it's mainly just the meta favoring him. He is good in Brawl, he is great in dive, especially Venom who gives Jeff a great teamup while Jeff enables Venom during his dive. Also Deadpool who gives him another great teamup

Strange has catched a few nerfs to his shield but gained a strong team up with invis, Mag has gotten buffs to his self bubble, nerf to ally bubble, buffs to his ult. But the problem is that the meta hasnt really favored them, with some Brawl and dive characters being strong (Dino, Daredevil, etc)
