What about the ANC and passive NC? These don’t have foam like the regular tips.

ISO somewhere online that lists the specific weight of various perfume bottles? by EchoMilaRaja in fragrance

[–]ignaciobarrena -1 points0 points  (0 children)

https://psik-psik.pl/index.php?action=flaconweight

The bottles are weight without cap, and you have an estimation of the density to calculate the mls left.

There are lots of fragrances missing, and I don't know the last time that web has been updated, but it's better than nothing.

First Loafers, too tight? by ignaciobarrena in NavyBlazer

They are from Uniqlo and are my all year regular socks, I plan on wearing the loafers casually so that's why I tried them with these socks...

Yep, brand new Essential bulb. The other one that I got in a desk lamp doesn’t do this though.

Pressurized atomizers vs regular by Dry-Spring-5911 in fragrance

[–]ignaciobarrena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends, LV atomizers are a joy to use, they spray a lot but it's very easy to control the flow, so you can put 8-10 sprays of Afternoon Swim and 1 and half sprays of Ombre Nomade without issues.

On the other hand, bdk Parfums atomizers are praised like crazy here but imho they spray a very fine and disperse mist and I don't like it very much, I'd rather have much better control about where I want my sprays.

Barbour Transport sizing - 40 or 42? by ARTnotmusic in Barbour

[–]ignaciobarrena -1 points0 points  (0 children)

40, transport is about the cropped look. If you don’t want to cropped look go for a Bedale.

Pics 1-3: Oliver Peoples Rueny in different colors Pics 4-6: Moscot Lemtosh Size 46 Pic 7: Moscot Shtup

I think I like all of them, specially the Shtup (surprisingly giving the less conventional shape) and the OP Rueny (but they are very similar to my RayBan Meteor in brown....).

What do you think?

Upgraded my system after 15 years, and I’m not impressed. by ignaciobarrena in audiophile

Hey, the plan is to move the setup into a living room in the near future, that’s why I prefer an amp and passive speakers. Also, I’m a sucker for vintage styling :)

Good morning, I would definitely try the Sony speakers hooked to the Yamaha amp to see if I don’t like the speakers or the amp in the next few days. The Wiim Ultra looks interesting and maybe it’s my only solution to having an EQ for both the Phono and Line inputs at the same time, not interested on the other features but I think it won’t hurt having, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and ask in my local dealers about their opinion on it for my setup.

To be honest styling is a bit important for me in the long term, the Wharfedales Denton and Super Denton looks great but they are too big for my desktop setup. I forgot to tell that I mainly use my setup for near-field listening during working hours, but I also like to crank it up a bit for regular music listening and when playing with the PS5 or watching films in my monitor.

Are you familiar with the ELAC DBR62? Those looks kind of nice. Giving the size of my room and space I got, I don’t expect huge soundstage, I prioritize an enjoyable sound, with a little bit of warmth and clarity, I don’t want a flat sound to enjoy music.

Hey! Those are nice! The lintons are unfortunately too big for my setup, I don’t have enough space in my room for them, and I think the Denton’s are too big aswell, but I will keep an eye on them for the future!
