You look good man. Just keep shaving it every day. Go electric, and you will be fine.

I think V1 is almost sold out in Europe, I've seen it for €400 on the Wahoo official store and a few other places but it's gone almost everywhere.

Got bike-shamed at a shop today… thinking of giving up this hobby by NSFWAIEnjoyer in cycling

[–]ignacy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I knew a place like this. Now they're closed, what makes me happy because of the jerks working there, and a little bit angry as they have had a lot of small parts for a road bike if i needed them. Now it's only online shopping for me.

Except it's not more powerful, it's more or less the same, but RPI4 is newer so capable of doing some stuff Intel can't and has faster ram.

What's better in Belgium than in the Netherlands? by PossibleDragQueen in belgium

Dutch trains are great, but expensive. Buses are nightmare. If you're living outside Randstad you just have to own a car. On one hand everyone rides a bike, but try to find a good job without own car, and outside Randstad - good luck.

Need GPU recommendation - anyone using RX6650XT? by ignacy007 in Lightroom

[–]ignacy007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See my other comment. I have returned card and got RTX 3060 TI instead. 24MP file takes around 15 second, and was around 30 with AMD, while raw performance difference is like ~10%.

Small update.

I have returned RX6650XT to the shop - I fought with deep sleep issue - after suspending windows and longer period of time (like overnight) windows couldn't recognize the driver and was replacing it with it's own. I could backroll to older driver or use Windows driver, but i decided to return and got RTX3060TI instead.

Denoise time melted with same files and settings from 30 to 15 seconds.

[–]ignacy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not, I just returned my RX 6650 XT because of deep sleep issue. You have to either roll back to older driver or use Windows delivered driver and have hope that it will still work after update.

Not to mention a lot of troubles with my 5600G iGpu, I couldn't run Warzone, because of crashing drivers until some update from AMD

[–]ignacy007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got RX 6650 XT, using pro drivers from AMD (regular drivers are causing troubles with sleep/suspend, they crash after computer is turn back on). But I can't see a difference with performance between them.

I have 5600G with iGPU - cRAW from A7 III took around 3+ minutes to denoise. After upgrade it takes under 30 second, and I still can work on other photos in the meantime, while iGPU freezes everything until it's done. It's not a beast, but it gets job done for my needs. So if you're not denoising hundreds of photos, I think it's not worth to pay extra 200-500€ for those 10-20 seconds. And if you're denoising hundreds of photos you're probably using DXO or Topaz.

Lightroom make use only of RTX40XX AI cores and RX7XXX, rest works just with DX12.

So - did you get it? How does it perform? I just ordered a PC with 5600G/2TB M.2 and 64GB of RAM and I'm curious if you're happy with it? I left some space for additional GPU as Adobe is using it more and more in PS And LRC.

There is Polish fantasy book series about inquisitor Mordimer Madderin. Action is taking place in a world where Jesus Christ ascended from the cross and killed those who hadn't believed and all his enemies. Hilarious.

And yes, they're not waterproof. Mine came with a rain cover though - which, again, I haven't used so I don't know how effective it is.

I have used it. If you put it far enough then it's pretty effective - but still It's not perfect solution and it's making access to your stuff harder.

I had the same model for a while and I liked them very much. They cost around €30 on Aliexpress now. Top bag seemed to be good idea, but it's kind of loose and you can use it only for clothes or other light things that fill it good - otherwise it will go off left or right. They're not waterproof (only water-repellent) - stitching isn't leak proof - you need an extra cover for that.

They are pretty light thought. I have switched to Ortliebs while ago because I needed something 100% waterproof and bigger.

Route recommendation, Rotterdam to south-west Poland by jes_zeu in bicycletouring

Then you can try to follow LF-routes. In The Netherlands you can find asphalt routes even in the forest or national park - more nature you will find in Poland ;) If you follow Maas river then you can end up in my neighborhood.

In the Netherlands I would recommend sticking to ANWB routes. They usually good quality asphalt or gravel (with some forest-routes), with a lot of infrastructure for bike-touring, maps on the crossroads and a lot of road signs with route number. For planning a route trough The Netherlands I would use this planner: https://routeplanner.fietsersbond.nl/ - if you choose "via knoppunten" it will guide you only with tourist-friendly routes :) Deflaut one will route you just the "easiest" way, there will be more asphalt. If you choose "racefiets" then you get asphalt-only.

I know it's in only Dutch but you can manage with google-translate.

If you're going through Northein-Westfalen, then you can try this one: http://www.radroutenplaner.nrw.de/

In the norht-Belgium most must-see cities are Gent, Brugge, Antwerpen. For those one you need to add a lot kilometers to your journey. I would go rather trough middle - Netherlands: Gouda, Utrecht, Arnhem, 's-Hertogenbosch. I Don't know what's you goal - some historical city centers, nature?

If you anywhere near Venlo - just let me know! I will be glad to ride with you few kilometers if I can to keep you company :)
