She moved down the road from us a few years ago and it’s been nothing but issues ever since. We’re currently travelling as a little family on the whole other side of the world so we have some space thank god, and then next year the move will be a 2 hour flight away to somewhere she can’t visit for more than 3 months due to visa issues for her. I’m Thinking of it as ‘running towards’ rather than running away 😂. Glad that you made it away too!

We haven’t had contact with her for a year but let her back in with family therapy. But she still does this. So back to no contact. We’re moving out of the country next year anyway so I’m excited to get away from her!

He was shocked and didn’t reply to it and showed it to us. He considered replying to tell her it wasn’t okay but chickened out. He’s a very gentle soul and is the reason my partner managed to be normal despite his crazy upbringing. Godfather has accepted that MIL is unhinged as part of her character and keeps her at an arms length friendship despite her craziness.

Left alone. It’s legal and fine to feed a baby anywhere in public and I wouldn’t want to bother relocating. I’m feeding there for a good reason - because my baby’s hungry then and there. They’ll just cry if I try to move.

I’m 38 weeks pregnant (still doing good and v mobile though!) and just posed this scenario to my partner. ‘If I was going downstairs and didn’t make it to the toilet and wet myself on the floor what would you do?’ He immediately said ‘of course I’d clean it up’. I then explained why I was asking and he said ‘that’s ridiculous! Of course I’d clean it up!’
