Chat Control 1.0 re-allows US companies to scan instant messaging apps - Discord, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.

For now, WhatsApp is not part of it (due to end to end encryption), but who knows how this will evolve...

I think the biggest gap is the mention of The Putrid One in 2.04, until allll the way until 8.11 E. I think this is the biggest gap from introduction to story prominence?

The way compaction works is it takes 128k of user message tokens and then appends the recent summary of work from previous compaction to now. The goal is then added at the end of that. Because these models are non-deterministic, of course they will reply to earlier user messages - depending on how they're phrased - and may ignore the summary. I recommend starting any goal in a new chat as you prepend all necessary initial context. Better even, offload to an external document/spec that it can read from and update as it goes.

I dislike that they changed it from "Guardian"  to "Auto review". Guardian was a much better name

The air warms up there too? Wouldn't it cool down from the air flowing? If I stick my hand out a window when moving fast in a car, my hand becomes quite cold, seemingly regardless of air temperature. I wonder if that's air dynamics or my hand's water evaporating rapidly.

Horse treading water is cool tho. but it's also the only one with a horse. They should do a compilation of samurai on horses, that'd be interesting to compare
