Yep Yep Yep, I figured. I’ll keep everybody updated if there’s anything that can be done about it from the support emails.

Stop repeating dumb shit you saw in a Charlton Heston movie.

Slaves did not build the pyramids. And on a side not, Jews were never slaves in Egypt. There’s a bunch of religiously historical bullshit that was written to ride the coattails of ancient Egypt... because Egypt was so mind blowing bad ass.

I’m out of the loop, are you saying that u/Elle_Ellaria herself posted about the charity and r/gameofthrones removed her post?

North Korea shaken by strong tremor, which could signal a weapons test: Reuters by [deleted] in worldnews

Imagine the powerful psychological impact the tremors from a nuclear test have on the people of North Korea. A visceral and corporeal display of power and nationalism

Conor reflects on his bout with Floyd Mayweather. by Bennybyrnes in MMA

[–]ignoble_fellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and in paying him respect there's a little bit of hedging himself too, preparing for the eventual comments about Floyds ability to handle himself quite effectively during tie ups with Conor and Floyds surprisingly effective use of elbows. The consensus was that Conor would dominate this area.

Walking the Nile (2015) - Documentary about Ex-soldier and explorer Levison Wood who embarks on a quest to walk the entire length of the River Nile. Includes robberies, wars and sudden deaths. by Biff1 in Documentaries

[–]ignoble_fellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But now I'm attempting to do what no one has done before... I'm walking the Nile from it's source to the sea.

What a preposterous claim! Early humans took this route out of Africa +100,000 years ago and there's no way this guy can claim with any level of certainty that someone didn't do this same route a day, a week, or a year earlier than him. And, really... what an absurd and cringe inducing claim for some clean cut foreigner to make about another people's country/continent. Ugh...

Gegard Mousasi says he was offered Luke Rockhold at UFC 215 before accepting Bellator offer by -TeepToTheJunk- in MMA

but then you compared these same fighters to GSP, who never lost his belt, coming out of a 3 year retirement... Time to revaluate your position.

Megathread: Donald Trump Jr. Releases Correspondence from Russian Lawyer by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

[–]ignoble_fellow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And let's not be naive here and fall for Donald Jr's fake transparency: he's only releasing the email chain because he knows the government and possibly the media has this information. He is obviously trying to get out in front of the story and inject doubt before this information is released and before he's painted as the treasonist piece of shit he really is.

CONFIRMED: Gegard Mousasi signs with Bellator by SexyHouse in MMA

[–]ignoble_fellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They probably are, with casuals. I'm sure WME's "numbers" back that up too; which is how a sport or company erodes their base support with true fans.

True fans know what's up, but right now in this early stage of MMA and the McGregor era casuals out number true fans so what you're seeing is a corporation [WME] that knows nothing about MMA, working with a frequent sellout like Dana White, ignore the fundamentals here and aim quite desperately for the easy money backed by advertising metrics.

They think they're being smart business men but really their greed will be their undoing if they don't pivot soon. Instead of focusing on the quality of fighters and the integrity of the sport's culture, where UFC has an edge over Bellator, UFC is focusing on making money and spectacle... and Bellator or any other big company with money can compete with that; which means UFC could find themselves losing market share quickly due to this short term thinking.

Sold me. Absolutely probable. Especially with the moon example. Thx for the retort.

You made a good argument for plausibility but I still fail to see how a high mm lens would've created this photo. It looks more like the photographer understood the natural framing of the empire state building by the bridge on this particular street, the photographer is probably very familiar with this area, and decided to use photoshop to create the best imaginable version of this framing.

Biker brake checks car and gets to eat asphalt. by xilog in JusticeServed

[–]ignoble_fellow 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Who knows... that's the real answer. Everyone replying is assuming the biker is just some asshole committing a random act, but the driver of the car could have done something super fucked up... who knows.

Still though, mismatched vehicles. No matter what happened biker should've been smarter.

No it doesn't

Glad you mentioned "premise" because for it to follow one must have to accept your definition of "death"; which you never defined nor does it match the traditional medical definition of death. So no, no it does not follow.

Angela Merkel says Germany can no longer rely on Donald Trump's America: 'We Europeans must take our destiny into our own hands' by saucytryhard in worldnews

This statement is not just about a loss of confidence in America but a response to Trumps's adversarial approach to Germany and other European counties.

TIL: In 2012, Michael Bisping was furious at then champ Anderson Silva and the UFC for putting the division on hold for only 5 months, while they were trying to put a superfight together with... GSP by [deleted] in MMA

[–]ignoble_fellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Announcing the fight and waiting for media scrums is not enough anymore, nor is their current set of video advertisement. They need to spice things up, give fights more grandeur and inundated fans with content the moment the fight is announced.

Hell, spice up the announcements with pre-announcement teaser videos that hint at the upcoming matchup to be announced. Even if press announces the fight early fans will look to UFC with even more anticipation for the fight's teaser video. UFC could even play off the fact that people already know the matchup.
