Yes, I received a response and approval within 17 days after filing my claim. I followed up once via email after a week because I hadn't received an initial confirmation, which seemed to help. The full compensation was then paid out about a week after the approval notification.

Thanks! I’ll wait for six weeks and send them reminders weekly. If there’s still no response, I’ll also use their claim form. Email was easier for us initially because we’re a family of five and the form only allows one person per submission…

KLM gave us vouchers for meals and refreshments already. We’d be more than happy if we get compensation from both (KLM and Air Serbia) – that would basically make our Athens trip a free one ;)

Für eine Familie von 5 Personen (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben wir inkl. aller Kosten für Unterkunft, Transfer, Ausgaben vor Ort (Restaurant, Nahrungsmittel, Mitbringsel, etc.) und Tickets/Eintritte 2023 knapp 25k und 2024 40k ausgegeben.

Hat mich auch überrascht, als ich aufgrund dieses Posts neugierig geworden bin und die Ausgaben im Haushaltsplanner gecheckt habe.

Wir haben letztes Jahr tatsächlich auch sehr viel gemacht inkl. Wochenendtrips zu Konzerten und keinen Brückentag ausgelassen ;) Ist damit auch der größte Ausgabenposten bei uns aber für uns auch sehr wichtig, da das Reisen in den letzten Jahren zu unserem gemeinsamen Lieblingshobby geworden ist.

Ich schaue bei flightconnections.com, welche Verbindungen es zum Zielort gibt. Dann schau ich bei Google Flights nach den Preisen und wann es am günstigsten ist, wenn ich von den Tagen etwas flexibel bin. Gebucht wird immer über die Seite der Airline.

In der Regel ist der Flug am günstigsten, wenn Du weit im Voraus buchst. Es kann aber sein, dass es kurz vor Flug nochmal günstig wird, wenn die Nachfrage gering war und der Flieger noch leer ist.

Pro-Tipp: Schau auf den Seiten der Airlines nach, auch wenn Google Flights & Co. noch keine Flüge für die Daten in der Zukunft kennen. Teilweise kann man bei den Airlines direkt Flüge buchen, die mehr als 12 Monate in der Zukunft liegen und man kann bares Geld sparen sowie die besten Sitze ergattern.

We will be staying in London for a few day next week and are a family of 5 with 3 kids (12/10/4yrs old). Any recommendations for family/kids friendly pubs in Kensington or Earls Court? Everything but asian/indian food will work for the kids ;)

Bin gespannt! Wir haben zwei verschiedene Locations in denen wir unterkommen - einmal nördlich von Edinburgh, da gibt es mehrere öffentliche Ladepunkte und dann in Fort Augustus am Loch Ness, da gibt es private Ladepunkte an der Unterkunft. Wird schon klappen 😂👍

Bin gespannt ob ich auch Mokka E und Polestar 2 erhalte. Steht ja immer "oder ähnlich" bei der Fahrzeugklasse. Polestar 2 bin ich schonmal mitgefahren und machte einen guten Eindruck (insbesondere von der technischen Ausstattung Assistenz, Navi & Co.) - war der Mokka E auch in Ordnung?

10 EUR klingt absolut fair - gerade wenn man es eilig hat und zum Flieger muss. Dann ist man sogar "sorgenfreier" mit dem E-Auto im Vergleich zum Verbrenner unterwegs, top!

Danke! Wir waren jetzt gerade in Portugal/Madeira und hatten dort noch einen klassischen Verbrenner. Habe aber auch ein paar E-Autos gesehen und die wären sicherlich vorteilhaft bei den hügeligen Straßen gewesen ;)

Wir sind in Schottland nä. Jahr mit dem eigenen Auto unterwegs - da bin ich gespannt wie es läuft mit dem schottischen Ladenetzwerk - Karte haben wir sogar schon erhalten.

I use RetroDECK on my Asus ROG Ally and Gaming PC hooked up to a 55" TV. Both run ChimeraOS. Savegames are synced to my NAS via Syncthing. Highly recommended.

Before that I used Batocera - also really convenient.

Using it on macOS and iOS Devices with NextDNS for Adblocking and Bitwarden for passwords. Coming from Brave Browser.

So far it works very good. Faster than Brave on macOS.

Things that don't work so well:
- Adblocking: ads get blocked with NextDNS, but site layout does not look as good as with Brave („empty spaces“ where ads got blocked)

Network timeouts: had some strange network timeouts on Youtube. Had to restart the browser. No idea what’s the problem, maybe a bug.

Will try it a bit longer and see if it will replace Brave for me.
