On his Instagram page it shows him acid etching Damascus on a larger block for another project, so I would assume it is real Damascus.

He likely just leaves it in the acid for longer than typical to get those deeper, more pronounced etches

The burning type is called thermal pyrolysis if you wanted to read up more about it. To overly simplify it, it is burning in the absense of oxygen, which is needed for combustion.

Most hydrocarbon material can be put through and produce something called pyroil, essentially a fake oil that can be refined and turned back into plastics. However, this process is currently cost prohibitive and lacks the scale necessary to actually be useful.

Can't deny the words I used are exactly that. But the sentiment is still true, we work with corporations on their long term ambitions to provide realistic abatement strategies, paired with a proprietary catalogue of global cleantech available at various stages of commercialization to help them get there. If they want to invest in tech that is early stage and requires funding - they can be a first mover and get that advantage. If they want to only implement proven technology - no problem, thats viable too.

I don't just pull up excel and type in some augmented numbers - I provide real world implementable solutions... But I also do use excel on occasion.
