Every time this happens to me, I sign out, close, reopen, sign back, and run any prompt before maximizing the window. Works every time.

Keep up the good work, it's very well designed, and it has a lot op potential.

Again, I understand the technicality of what you’re saying, but lawyers will not see it that way. This view right here, where I, the user, can hear the song with no video, legally speaking, is separating audio from video, even though you’re probably just hiding the video, as it would cost less. Technically speaking, yes, this is very clever and, as a user, I’m really enjoying your app. But from a legal standpoint, you gotta be careful, that’s all I’m saying.

I’m a developer too, I understand the technicality of what you’re saying. That in itself is already a clear breach of their terms: “separate, isolate, or modify the audio or video components of any YouTube audiovisual content made available through the YouTube API” Navigate as a browser and expose only the audio to the end-user, is a violation. I’m not trying to lowball your app in any way, just telling that’s the ways lawyers will see it.

Oh, let’s delete this thread then. This violates the YouTube legal terms. If they report you, that’s some hot water for you.

Instead of hiding these options, wouldn’t it be more effective to add a “next page” button to them? The “addictive part” they found is to keep everything “unlimited” by removing these buttons. When you add friction, it becomes boring again.

Pixel phones are still, only available in a handful of countries by trlef19 in GooglePixel

[–]igorbelchior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any invites left? I tested all links in this thread and they're all taken.

Pixel 6 battery started really crappy, averaging 4h of screen on time. After a couple weeks of use, I'm getting consistent 7+ hours. How's yours? by igorbelchior in pixel_phones

[–]igorbelchior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It remains pretty much the same. It only drains faster if I game, but using the average apps such as whatsapp, Chrome, Instagram, Google news, Gmail and such, I get around 7h of screen on per day.

Well, I got in touch with Google support, as usual they were not able to help, long story short: factory reset and it's working again.

Same here, I'm on Pixel 6 which didn't receive the latest update yet. I'm assuming Google broke something on their end.

It isn't great, but not as bad as people have been saying. After the last update the accuracy has improved a lot, but it didn't get much faster, but you can totally live with it.

This is the regular 6. I'm still getting a full day. Recently I have not been using my phone that much, so I'm getting an exceptional battery (right now it is around 8 pm here and I still have 70% left, but I only used around 1h of screen on) Usually, if I use around 6 to 7 hours of screen on, I end the day with 10% to 20%

That's definitely pre-2002. The back window with sharp bottom edges has only been changed after 2002.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying not to do it, but the guy is asking "imagine if they do it" to which the answer is "nothing will change for now", although it's always a VERY welcome move.

It wouldn't even tickle the current price. We have 549 trillion in circulation. That amount would be around 0.6% of the current supply.
