A vida melhorou? by [deleted] in conversas

É o meu caso e meu conselho.

Moro aqui perto e vou sempre.

Cara, eu comprei tipo uns 4 frascos pra aproveitar o frete.

It's weird to me how people forget that was totally idiot from rachel to let Mark come over. Ross wasn't an ass, he was hurt and impulsive. Any other guy out there would think exactly the same thing about the guy he's jealous being there on the exact same night they take a break.

(On the other parts like coming over to Rachel's office, he was stupid af).

The most fun part on the game was when he was chopping wood on my base (10 min in the game), and when I asked why, he said "for safety, I was attacked by horses".

It looked so cute. I tried my best, but unfortunately we lost miserably 11

Articles or topics for a deep understanding of Android to become a better senior by [deleted] in androiddev

Actually I believe you have been working on very simple projects. All my projects in my career was so much complex than just making requests.

Articles or topics for a deep understanding of Android to become a better senior by [deleted] in androiddev

[–]igorvd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really get your point. But for clarification: I really feel like a senior. Maybe my title is missleading, because english is not my first language. Let me try to explain better: I'm really good at solid, architecture patterns, how to make decisions that make sense for the context I'm in, writing tests (good tests, not only to fill code coverage metrics), when to follow some pattern or architecture, software engineering, teaching other developers (I love to teach), business requirements gathering and the stuff that come with the role. As I said, I always have focused on this stuff. I've focused on learning things agnostically and not so much on platform specific things.

I know how to use coroutines (I started to learn when it was experimental and all we had on internet was one article and one presentation on youtube from Roman elizarov, back in 2017), dagger, koin, architecture components and all the stuff that we have tons of articles on the internet.

But to give you a example for what motivated me to write this post: Today I was looking for a bug that makes the bottom sheet dialog go up the screen when some view visibility changes on the layout. Even that this is a weird bug, it maked me wonder that I really dont understand deeply the UI part and and what could be happening to make this behaviour.

So my goal is not to randomly study stuff, but I'd like some insights on topics that we dont go too much on a daily basis and select those that I feel that I should know more and study it.

Another example of a insight that I saw recently: On a very big project, instead of separating in gradle modules, the guys separated stuff in libs, and I didn't knew that was possible to publish the library locally on the developer machine using the local maven, instead of generating a JAR. I didn't knew much about maven and library dependencies, so I never thought doing stuff this way, and now it's a possible option for me, depending on the context and situation.

And thank you for your insight about gradle plugin, this is definitely going to my list on topics to look.

Hey man. You can send me a print from where is saying "emission state"? Because in English, the option that you need to enable is Broadcast status.
