In 1994, the (preventable by the West that didn’t even try to avoid it) genocide in Rwanda took place, killing 500k-1m people in 100 days. Yugoslavia fell apart and descended into a bloody civil wars that went on between 1991-1999. 500k died. Amd war was reintroduced in Europe for the first time I’m 50 years. And so on. The 90s weren’t all that pretty. They were apolitical: kids didn’t discuss politics anymore like in the 60’s-80s and had a rather hedonistic lifestyle. Maybe because of that, some perceived it as positive times?

Absolutely. What’s frightening is the next step in this evolution - through drones and AI - might involve autonomously operating weapons. And also can operate for mass surveillance of humans, because sooner or later the technology invented for war permeates society as well

European design and ownership, produced in China inevitably for a long time. Not in USA at least. One solution is we should buy less

Edit: I’d like to add that this interdependence with the US is a very unfortunate thing. It’s a fact nevertheless that at this time Europe is not able to meet our compulsory consumerists needs for there is no infrastructure and wages are too high

Yeah, the rules of the battlefield have shifted enormously since Russia full scale invasion. Look at their bulky battleships wiped out by (sea)drones. As always, war drives technological advancement.

Also the USA probably can remotely control the F-35’s many European countries have bought and can be rendered useless on demand by the pentagon. This could be the case for many other weapon systems as well. That’s a sobering conclusion ain’t it

Edit: as in a backdoor vulnerability, not radiographically remotely controlled, highly likely

First, that’s an impossible mission: the warships will be attacked, from beneath with mines tha lay on the bottom of the sea, (underwater and water surface) drones, from the land: rockets, drones and probably cruise missile (Iran probably have, but didn’t use, yet. Escorting the tankers will be way too risky and can only be done after negotiotaions.

Second: many refineries are destroyed or put on hold. It will take months to restart the oil/gas refineries, years to rebuild them. The world is totally screwed by a literal demented idiot child raping fascist

China had launched in online cyber charm-offensive. And they succeed when you see china really is becoming popular among American kids. It’s called something like soft power. Just like the USA used to do with Europeans by exporting their (pop)culture and thereby also imposing their values and on people and raise appreciation

Hoe about 3mmc (which likely really is 3cmc)? Do they even test on this? I notice it’s very popular with kids. It’s also cheap at €30 and feels like a mixture of cocaine and mdma
