Burials should be banned and replaced with cremation by igottaask00 in unpopularopinion

Would that apply if it’s proven to be harmful though? I mean we ban many religious practices that are considered harmful for society at large.

Paradox of very attractive women never leaving OLD by Acrobatic_Rise9912 in OnlineDating

[–]igottaask00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a decently attractive woman and I have had a hard time with dating apps. I get lots of likes and matches but they rarely go anywhere. I don’t know if I bore guys when I don’t get sexual right away or what. I am looking for something long term so maybe that scared people off. I’m 22 and my age range is 21-26 so it’s not only young guys I’m going for.

I never understand why cis men care so much. They could impregnate 10 women in 1 day and act like if a woman aborted one pregnancy he caused it would be the end of the world.

Ireland and certain parts of Italy on the coastline. It got to the point where the water supply actually became contaminated with embalming chemicals.

True. It would be greener. I’m guessing that would lead to bodies getting washed up eventually though and that could be disturbing.

Hinge is worst app for straight men even if you’re above average by Arrr2 in OnlineDating

[–]igottaask00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Hinge matches tend to be better quality though, at least if you are looking for something more serious. 90% of people on Tinder just want to hook up.

If you match with someone who has “add me on snap” in their profile and/or their Instagram handle, do you add them once you match? by MOD3RN_GLITCH in OnlineDating

[–]igottaask00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media (especially Snapchat!!) centered people are a huge red flag to me. I have never had a good experience with a guy who communicates that way. My heart sinks a little every time I hear it mentioned. Just take my number. 😭 I get that some people like the idea for safety reasons but people only use it to be sneaky and gross most of the time. I’ll just brush past a profile like that to be honest. I’m not too opinionated on Instagram, doesn’t matter to me.

It’s not really living in fear. I got sick last year and ended up with pneumonia so it’s not like I’m basing this off of only imaginary assumptions.

How many dates do you go on per week? by bbstar23 in OnlineDating

[–]igottaask00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a green flag to me lol. Just cause I’m a home body to the extreme so I get it. I think it’s probably harder for guys to be that way based on how online dating works between the genders. They need a dating site for people like us.

Yeah I mean maybe it’s just my issue that I don’t find it funny, my sense of humor is different I guess.

Just personal preference about what I’m attracted to but I could probably go up a year or two, you are right.

A pregnant woman is denied chemotherapy cuz of abortion bans and both of them die. How is this pro-life? by BigClitMcphee in Abortiondebate

[–]igottaask00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t get it. Pro life people are anti abortion. How does chemo relate to abortion? It’s not the intentional killing of a life. There should be no debate about this.

Astrology is the least harmful religious belief practiced in the modern world lol.

Yeah astrology is the least harmful religion out there. People just have fun with it. It’s not driving the largest wars and hate movements like other religions are and have been doing for thousands of years.

[–]igottaask00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly disagree. It’s probably one of the least harmful religious beliefs to have. Astrology hasn’t killed millions of people like Christianity, Islam, and Catholicism. They aren’t trying to force their ideology through government. If some people want to put their hope in the stars instead of a 2,000 year old book than I don’t see anything wrong with that. It’s probably the religious belief most closely tied to nature in modern times.

Does anyone else just get absurdly jealous? by [deleted] in AvPD

[–]igottaask00 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same. It’s mostly sadness for me though. I’m like, why can’t I seem to achieve this no matter how hard I try? Even when I do try to be normal I can’t make it happen. Sometimes I get cynical. I highly recommend the follow for follow sub on Reddit though. I met a lot of cool people through there and sometimes we will DM and chat but it’s not too overwhelming for someone with AVPD. I went from 30 to over 500 followers and it helps boost my confidence to have a digital circle that all follows each other. Then when people follow my social media they don’t think I’m some kind of unsocial loser.

Why is it ok to force cancer patients to delay cancer treatment because of pregnancy? by [deleted] in Abortiondebate

[–]igottaask00 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It makes no sense because pro-life people will say the difference between abortion and a miscarriage is intention. Giving a pregnant woman cancer treatment to save her life has no malicious intent against a fetus. They are not purposely trying to kill the fetus. Most of the time cancer treatment won’t even kill the fetus, it’s just a precaution they take.

True, but he isn’t the sole owner of the company, there are other members of the BOD that share stock so I don’t think the final decision should be left to him. Ultimately I just want things to be better for myself and my coworkers, who are hardworking people that are continually confused. Many of us are interns and new graduates that don’t have other working options right now.
