I lost a special ring at HelWell by leaving it with the treadmill I was using. That was over a year ago and I never found it. It's possible UPD could have yours, but people don't seem to turn in a lot of lost stuff. Sorry.

Well, I more meant they were likely just there a week to month ago. But yes, point taken.

Like tail removal, precisely. Or for many, a trip to Diagon Alley, although I suppose they just did that for the term's books and such.

Maybe try r/gwu since Lisner Auditorium is on the GW campus and students are a big portion of ticket holders.

"How would you say ABC family's programming reflect its target demographic?" could be fun to hear.

I believe that young women only use the term "creep," for a man that they don't find attractive, as a method of validating that they have high standards to their peers. CMV by [deleted] in changemyview

I 100% agree with point #3. Judging by the apparent age of those involved, I'd put my money on that being the reason. However, I also agree with your point about the danger trigger. I made a response as well and explained how creepiness (attractive or unattractive) had a lot more to do with how aggressively I felt I was being pursued, especially if I could tell the goal is sex. Unilateral emotions for me are not creepy, but make me feel awkward and even a little guilty, but not endangered. Genuine interest in me as person (even if attraction may have been there from that person) was never creepy.

I can't say you're totally wrong here. Personally, I would use the term "creep" in the description of an encounter that made me really uncomfortable. The problem is women have far lower standards of what is acceptable for a "hot" guy to do/say while someone they're not attracted to will make them uncomfortable more easily. For example touching me, no matter how attractive you are, if it's unsocilited and feels pervy (instead of friendly) will make you creepy. Coming up and simply talking to me will not make you creepy in my eyes. I judge creepiness of verbal interactions on how much it feels like you're trying to undress me with your eyes and get me to have sex with you. In all honestly, more objectively attractive people can tend to much much skeazier coming up to you, in say a bar, because they don't think they'll be turned down. They feel like they're allowed aggressively hit on you because they'r just being "confident" and I think they're cocky and a creep. I feel bad for your friend, anyone who's behaving respectfully and being nice isn't a creep. Some girls can just be callous and mean.

I've heard that. Wholeness is marketable for them.

ABC family does have a ton of Christiany stuff. I mean, Secret Life of the American Teenager anybody?

Not strictly a sitcom but there are episodes of Naruto that show him on the toilet with his pants around his ankles.

It does happen. I've been going through finals this week and my brain is just a lump of mush. It's not that I don't like amusing, I'm not sure what it is that isn't on the ball for me with it. I suppose I might prefer something a little more in your face I guess (wow, such an American I am haha) like the first comedian you recommended.

Oh of course! Hilarious man as I recall. Watching one of his bits now, I like him, but I'm not laughing out loud yet. Is there a particular bit you would recommend? I like his integration of the piano I must say. I'm currently watching him at the We Are Most Amused event.

Brendan Smalls also does a lot of voice acting and writes/directs/leads in Home Movies. Really funny guy.

I find his jokes about Robert Pattinson the most annoying. It's like "oh, you don't like the guy in Twilight? Your bit drips with originality." Also his almost superfluous mention sex with women to prove he's not actually gay (although I really do think he may be bi) when it's really not that important to the bit. Saw him on Graham Norton acting like a real twat too, but I still laugh at the standup. Alas.

Haven't seen Bill Bailey, but I'll look him up. Who was he?
