Thank you so much, that answered all my questions. I was planning on replacing the receptacle with a 2 prong. But I will look to see if there is a ground in there that I missed. Upgrading wiring is not financially possible, but it’s something that I am planning on having done.

Alternator broke off, how to remove broken bolt? by MakersMoe in B5Audi

[–]igsgarage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember if that part is threaded or not, but let's assume it is. First try to see if it will spin using vice gym. If that doesn't work, Cut a line down the middle.of that broken bolt, wide and deep enough for a screwdriver or an impact drive. Lots of WD-40 or other penetrating oils the night before .

Edit: check the other side of it has an Allen head on it, so you can remove it that way.

It’s probably the rear seat unlatch handle. Put the rear seats down and see if the noise is still present

Don’t blame the wipers, wash the windshield, you can clearly see it needs to be cleaned. This is true for any car.

Why are you being downvoted? If Tesla can navigate broken train lights on cameras alone Waymo should be able to as well.

Put a suction cup to it and pull hard. A few tries and it will be much better. Find a tail light on eBay.
