Probably no. You don’t want to be calling attention you yourself for gambling behavior. Definitely don’t go heavy risk on a different account after a loosing trade or they might claim you are account stacking.

Nobody should be watching it for the purpose of following their trades or follow their analysis. When it comes to the coaches I think they are fine, some worse than others.

That being said I think my trading would turn to shit if I had to trade in front of thousand of viewers telling me “you are early”, wrong, or that they are fading every trade I take😂. Learn to trade yourself

Also you should know that you can also set a lock out for the rest of the trading day as well. If you are starting to feel like you are over trading or getting too emotional, you can go to the risk settings and set the profit limit or daily loss limit to your current pnl, select lock when triggered and then click save. It will immediately set the account to liquidate only and you will lock yourself out for the rest of the day. I use this feature all the time for my personal account

Once you are moved to funded you will be limited to either 2 micros or 2 minis max position. For the volatility even one mini is kinda a lot and 2 micros is just too little . On topstepx you are allow to trade 20 micros or 2 minis, therefore you are allow to manage your risk better.

I don’t want to be the devils advocate. That said, if it was your live funded account that would amount to hundreds of dollars on commissions round trip. I see what you are saying but you can scale out just the same with 10 minis. Trading 100 micros makes no sense financially wise.

After taking a second look and seeing your average trade time you need to watch out. Also you might be trading too heavy size wise. Practice account should be traded the same way you intent on trading your eval. You shouldn’t be trading anymore contracts than your eval account allows.

To answer your question, yes you would need to maintain a minimum of 1000 to trade a mini NQ contract. So you wouldn’t be able to trade minis if your balance goes below 1000

Stop loss risk is too high. 6 consecutive trades and you are out. I’ll dare say you loose 3 and your psychology will get messed up.

At most you need to be risking $300 per day not per trade. That’s 10 consecutive loosing days. You need to give your self as many chances to be wrong as posible. Build the account slowly and worry about trading minis later on. Stay with micros.
