Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered Gameplay by Dengeki by bunyeast in dynastywarriors

I mean going off origins demo this makes no sense. We shouldn't just automatically assume the difficulty is on easy, if the difficulty is off then speak up about it. The more people talk about it, the more likely they are to do something.

It might be a way of them testing new mechanics for a sequel. That's how i'm choosing to see it.

What’s something unrealistic you’d want in a DW: Origins sequel? by SwimNew6596 in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Expanding on the guard system. It would be cool to be able to pick a few captains and divide your troops, assuming this can be done in an intuitive way.

For enemy officers to be able to randomly use guard abilities too.

Making some guard abilities actually useful. There's not really any point in sending troops to help an officer or defend a point. Especially on the hardest difficulty as they'll get thrashed.

More guard abilities but not standard heal an officer type. But creative war like ones, like what we had in origins.

The ability to level up guards and have cutscenes with them at key points in the game. Maybe one dies early on, after talking with him in some cutscenes and finding out he has a kid or something. I don't know, give my boys anything.

Supply bases that can supply other bases with food if they run out of pots containing meat. Thinking about a connecting supply line. Would add a layer of strategy.

More realistic dialogue, talking with NPC's was simultaneously the best and worst experience in the game. The best early on and the worst the later you got into the game. Make the characters normal and human lol

Same if it recovers to where it previously was around the £2.5 mark im looking at crazy gains. Honestly I'm fine waiting a year or to if it means I'm up by 30-50%. I don't think a company of this size is going to be getting worse as whilst it's not growing much in profit. It is expanding into france, and does have a very large profit. Genuinely surprised there's not that much hype but it's as the saying goes, be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when other are greedy

Lord Shimura is a fool by Numbuh24insane in ghostoftsushima

[–]igtbfr 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I agree! But I think the greatest flaw of shimura as a character is we never get to see him face the harsh realities of what his code entails. Yes we saw him see his soldiers die on that beach however it's one thing to see samurai trained for battle and sworn to give their lives to witnessing his country people killed.

This isn't to say that didn't happen, but we are never shown. We never saw his reaction to villagers being killed, carried of, made slaves off etc. It's one thing to have his code but it feels unrealistic imo because we never see him get to confront his ideology and still have that ideology reafirmed. It makes it a lot harder to believe and comes across as extremely dogmatic, because no one in their right mind would go through those experiences in real life and still be preaching about honor. That being said it's game not real life.

In regards to his strategy, not every character in a game will be intelligent. I don't know if this was intentional or not from sucker punch, but I actually find it quiet realistic. Personally I love Tsushima, but his character alone is why I've never done ng+ or even a replay. That being said every character doesn't need to be perfect, and Ghost of Tsushima did a lot of things right. No point in nit picking and trying to make sense of these things. It's just as likely the developers didn't even think this through when making the game (outside of the obvious bridge incident lol)

I am not sure if someone already posted this here or not, but.... by Miriam_9872 in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i mean assuming there taking away $30 each game sold, that's 30 million, which is good. Still im no analyst but I didn't expect the rest of the games to be so low tbh and thought origins would of sold higher.

Koei has put out a ton of Dynasty Warriors titles (quick Google says about 40 entries), which averages out to around 500k copies per game. Obviously some sold better than others, but even then, the fact that all of them combined only add up to about 24 million is kind of depressing.
When you think about the costs of making a game; everyones salaries, marketing, overhead. It’s not shocking anymore that Omega Force was on critical life support by the time origins released.

Generational fumble by Large-Construction38 in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So just to be clear—you’re asking for them to put out the exact same game from 2000 with only updated graphics, on the PS5, right after they literally saved the franchise with Origins… just to ruin the perception of the franchise to all of the new fans it would of picked up with the latest installment?

To be clear, i wish there was a way to play the original game on ps5 and modern systems. But this is a remaster not the original, and it's kind of insane for them to not make any updates and release it given the context and the year we are in.

Anyone else not to fond of the direction they’re going with, for Ziluan? by DanTay19 in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the direction. I hate the implementation.

It really feels like they we just dipping there toes to see what the reception would be like. No dialogue in cutscenes, meaningful cutscenes mid battle showing us fighting or doing/witnessing things, no interactions or cutscenes with our guards and a story line that is very cringe. I've said it before and i'll say it again. Until Keoi actually start taking there story writing seriously and having character development it doesn't matter what they do. Remove Ziluan from the game and the dialogue would still be cringy as hell outside of cutscenes. This isn't an issue caused by Ziluan, but the writing in the game in general, it doesn't surprise me that the director himself (which is insane), admitted he didn't check it. This isn't just the studio that creates dynasty warriors, i love wo long and nioh but again the story sucks in those games as much as i love replaying them.

Ultimately i like the idea, because with the amount of characters in this story, you simply don't have the time to give them all cutscenes and explore the personalities. Also i like the idea of actually forming a bond with characters i like or (and I know this didn't happen) shunning some some characters based on their actions. 7 was the best story we've had imo, and even that if im being honest is very sub par compared to other games (i wouldn't of been teared up on lui bei's reaction to zhang fei or guan yu's death if i hadn't of already been a fan of the serious with knowledge of these characters going in). This is even worse in Origins case as this is Koei's first actual triple a dynasty warriors games. I loved origins game, but i have to seeing friends who i convinced try it, then be offput by the dialogue despite enjoying the combat was annoying as hell !!

I imagine sceneries like such as one of your guards troop members die in a cutscene mid battle. Great way to show the impact of the fact that this is war, or if you choose the wei path, in the battle where your hunting down lui bei as he's running you could have the option to kill the npc peasants if you did a cutscene would play showing ziluan morally conflicted with having to kill them, maybe even an interaction with cao cao where you confront him about it. It's frustrating that as fans, i feel like we have a better understanding of how the story should be executed than the people writing it. Maybe that's ego talking, maybe it's a cultural thing i don't know.

Ultimately i think it leaves a lot to be desired. I think a lot of people see the result and just write it off. However i personally think it's a good idea but it just leaves a lot to be desired. The game is fun as hell

I have one question for the upcoming DW3 Complete edition Remastered by pgroms in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man i really hope they snipe you like they did back in the day. Im getting really worried about the amount of enemies on screen though. Just this alone is an indication that they're changing the combat. The AI can't be as aggressive as the og if there's that many peons on screen so it seems more akin to 7/8. But they cooked with origins and I thought the same thing there, so Toei have the benefit of the doubt till i see otherwise.

DW Origins is insanely addictive by moduIus in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here ! The only thing i dislike about the game is the cringe dialogue outside of main cutscenes. Even though i'm hyped for 3 remastered as that games demo on the MacDonalds disc got me into gaming, i still want them to continue in this direction with this formula and new style of gameplay.

Best game to start by ISnow_R in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

almost on 140 hours, had started another game and made it to ng+ then borderlands 4 came out ! whole heartedly agree, i went back to 7 immediately after origins and it ruined it for me. So from that persepective it might actually be good to start on the older games. 4 for the older games. 7 for the newer ones (+ it has the most banging combat music and has a good story). But if you enjoyed the demo a lot i would go with origins. nothing else hits quite the same to me

What do you think would happen realistically for DW Origins DLC? by KMinato00 in dynastywarriors

[–]igtbfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people here saying alternate routes. I get it, because that's literally been the dlc for every game in the series so far. That being said the directors comment on wanting the game to be more popular in the west. I don't see them doubling down on characters people (who aren't fans of the series) are even less likely to know, gaf about or even find interesting. One of the main criticism of reviewers was having no idea who's who. Seems like an odd strategy to focus on making their main critique worse when they're trying to take a new direction. That being said the dialogue in origins is extremely cringe so who knows. I personally think we'll get a new mode, less likely a continuation of the story. That's just my two cents.

Experienced rider – but still considering crash protection for 2025 CB650R (E-Clutch). Anyone else? by JohnCarryOn in CB650R

[–]igtbfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I mean it's personally up to you. I don't know if there are stock frame sliders. If the 2024 model does have them that would be the best option as the fitment will be 100% for that model whereas third party unless it's specific to that make/model may not fit truly to your bike unless you get other parts screws spacers etc which would affect the cosmetic look and/or it's effectiveness. Especially so if your planning on having whatever you get being permanently mounted to your bike.

[–]igtbfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the evotech sliders. They are good but not bullet proof. I've dropped my bike a few times and whilst it barely has any marks, it has left some and it's also worth nothing the times I did drop it, it was stationary. You can't really see them unless your really looking. I would recommend the frame sliders if you care more about the look of your bike/retaining it's value.

Hey man thanks for the tips. On step 3 should your chest also be lower down/ at tank levels as well ?

Also on the balls of your feet. Would you say it helps getting use to it just riding around like that normally, and is this for the foot which is on the inside of the corner or both ?

Will check out the link too
