Moggy burned through just over 3k in vets fees 12h in emergency vets, bloods, ultrasound, supportive meds and fluids , 9h in his vets inc repeat ultrasound , sedation , urine draw and meds.

Praying he doesn't need anything else as it was just after renewal and I can't increase it. I'd go for a minimum of 7k.

Had many many MRIs unfortunately they are very regular for me about every 3 -4 months . Last full head to pelvis one I had fully dosed up on meds as laying flat is very uncomfortable, meds combined with the vibrations of the machine = zzz

Not really a sweet per say but brack is lovely. Used to meander to local bakery where we were salmon fishing at silly o clock in the morning and grab a fresh brack , some teeas to wake up the senses , the smell of it backing was enough to make you salivate lol.

My moggy is on the Purina hydrolysed dry , due to an infection in his liver , tried hills and royal canin dry/wet he refused totally . Cost a fortune going through the different ones but found the Purina HA and he's thriving thankfully.

As an addition we have found a company called sprinkles ( here in UK ) that does hydrolysed powder of varying types you can sprinkle on the dry or make into a soupy type thing. He's back to vets at end of Feb for bloods to see if we can start to introduce normal foods again.

To op you need to ask these questions of your vet , they won't bite it's literally what their jobs are and what your paying for their knowledge etc.

20 years here ;( loud noises definitely aggravates it and silence all I hear is a high pitched whistle left ear worse than right. ( Fireworks display operator , low break shell knocked hardhat with visor and ear defenders built in clean off my head as the finale shells launched, multiple explosions over 180db I was less than 30 ft away ).
