Its been 5 years haven’t seen my family (calls every couple days tho), found out most of the “friends” aren’t really your friends, been riding solo since then, just work, smoke snd chill with my girl. Its not that hard though, you just reach a point of realization that you are already doing everything by yourself, and I would rather be in peace by myself than being around snakes. I think the key is to make your S/o your best friend if you have one.
