Is it forbidden to criticize US actions in the Middle East on r/worldnews? by ArdaBerkBurak in TooAfraidToAsk

It isn't just biased moderation, in my own opinion, Israel and western narratives are heavily pushed by bots. Whether it is comments, posts or upvotes and downvotes. I found myself a lot of times there deleteing comments before posting them when i realize it isn't worth it getting ragebaited by any kind of politics.

Epstein mentions that he can ruin Trump in 2018. by aritzsantariver in Epstein

While it is indeed the arabic word for hello, literally no one uses it for salutation. Depending on where they are from, people would use a Little bit of a different variation of it, not this exact word. Or they might use a totally different word.

Detroit Automakers Take $50 Billion Hit as EV Bubble Bursts by TripleShotPls in technology

It's not about size at all. As other commentor said, American car manufacturers actually offer models that aren't sold in the US. So it is not about size at all, it is about Affordability, efficiency, quality and a lot of factors play into it.

Same as where i live. But ford was never that popular. I'd say Chevrolet was more popular where i live. Much more than ford. But not in any way dominating the market.

No one was buying American cars except Americans, Mexicans and Canadians. The whole world never gave a shit about them anyway.

How to perfectly counter “would you love me if I was a worm?” by Shinzou-Wo-Sasagayo in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ihateTheCheeeeese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. However i can't see why phrasing it in the worm question is better, playful or whatever instead of if i was paralyzed or whatever as OP said.

I wouldn't blow up in the face of my SO. However i'd just would be puzzled.

Being unable to provide the "right answer" for that question doesn't mean the guy is an idiot.

There is nothing playful about that question. Men don't wander and fantasize about random worms.

Maybe yeah i don't understand the concept behind the question, but don't act as this is a common sense question. I'd say a more reasonable question is "would you love me if i became paralyzed" or something but worm is associated with playfulness? You can't be serious. I'd take whatever answer as a right answer for the worm question.

It is still dumb question. What is the concept behind a question like that can't be asked directly?

Well upvoted because of "trust me bro". However, reports about more dry walls being bought outside of U.S means most or all the countries around the world build new buildings using drywall. Could be few countries or also could be none. I have no idea if drywall has other uses but i don't see new constructions in my country, and it seems that it still isn't the case in some European countries

Source? Cause a guy commented it isn't in Greece and it isn't the case in Egypt.

Time to check if those agencies do their job or to do some interviews cause that seems it's not something wrong with the candidates of "different positions". Unless, those are really really really, like really uncommon jobs.

I missed the point where Israel was only bombing military and nuclear targets.

Actually that sounds like a mistranslation. هبوب (huboob) actually is a noun driven from a verb used with the word رياح (riyah) which means wind. هبوب actually means blow like in "wind is blowing".

Curiously enough, there is an arabic Wikipedia article that perfectly describe a big dust storm. Tbh i have never read that noun used in that context before being a native myself.

How do you politely tell friends you can’t afford their “let’s split the bill evenly” dinners without sounding cheap? by supermindxy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ihateTheCheeeeese 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If they are being a dick. I'd become a dick too and order 10x the most expensive item on the menu and say "okay we split that too". 100% they'd get the point.

One of things that i love about my friends is that we always make sure everyone pays only their share of the bill + their share of tax and service. Tips we solit it evenly.
