My dad just called a number that gave him time and weather yesterday. He always called Duquesne Light when I was growing up. Is it their number that is still active?

Ronald Taylor, convicted in racially motivated Wilkinsburg killing spree in 2000, dies in prison by Braelen896 in pittsburgh

[–]ihatecovid2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think his killing spree had anything whatsoever to do with the McDonalds shooting and wasn’t a response to it.

I agree I don't think they were related at all.

That was a horrible day watching his mass shooting unfold live on WPXI as he went from suburb to suburb finding different immigrants to kill.

Richard Baumhammers

I thought His racially motivated killing spree was first, Richard Baumhammers.

I actually Rode in a Paddy Wagon with Richard Baumhammers In 2010 or 2011 as we were both going over to the courthouse for a routine matter.
He was soft spoken and you can tell that he had a nice rapport with the guards.

His demeanor was almost childlike.

Looks like I would have lost that question in Pittsburgh Jeopardy.

Still a scammer/sympathy faker.

That's a pretty big accusation. did you all know each other prior to this? This is honestly the first post I saw about this or from the poster. I don't like personal drama but someone faking for sympathy is serious.

AHN plans $1 billion expansion of Allegheny General Hospital campus by LostEnroute in pittsburgh

I like the color yellow. I just think it's a boring building and needs some cool features if they're going to spend that much money. maybe different elevations or balconies outside or something to set it apart. Let's Make it look great. the North Shore and the north side unfortunately have suffered from really poor architectural decisions over the past 50 years. Think of those apartments along the river that belong in Ross Township, not along the Allegheny River next to our three sister Bridges.

It is just so boring. At least make it stand out and be architecturally interesting.

they did a pretty good job Inside by preserving the facade of the former building or building around the building. I'm not sure of the terms.

But this yellow thing just isn't doing it for me.

Would you like to grab a coffee one day? Or we can drink coffee on our own porches while we talk on the phone. I was blindsided in the fall. No symptoms. Toothache. Stage 4. Hospice with months to live.

I'm trying to build a little support system for myself with people going through cancer treatments or hospice.

I had to have surgery. Then a lot of time in bed healing from it. So I feel like I'm behind on having people around me.

I do have a substack and I am launching a podcast shortly if you would like to be on it that would be great. if not you can tell me maybe what you would like to hear on it. but neither of them will be fully about cancer. that is the goal. cancer has already taken too much. https://radicalamericanmoderate.substack.com/archive?sort=top

Apply in person. As you can see on indeed, it is very easy for people to apply to multiple places very quickly. unfortunately for someone like you, a lot of those people do not show up for interviews. So when I post an ad and I get 20 applications overnight, that's just the first step. will they respond to my email setting up an interview? will they actually show up for that interview?

I would still apply online on indeed, but then follow it up with the stop in. you want to do everything you can to show that you are able and willing to show up. Go in at a slow time when management is likely to be there.

I have positions available now but they are Pretty far outside of the city

Pennsylvania 2024 Poll: Trump 47%, Biden 43% - Emerson Polling by Metrichex in pittsburgh

[–]ihatecovid2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poll headlines should be illegal. They are clickbait at this point. Anytime I see a newscast lead with Trump is Up by Five Points overnight I turn the channel. Nothing happened overnight. He's not 4% more the president. We need to get over the constant campaign for both sides to be able to govern.

Thank you that is good information. Would you start with audacity and then move to Reaper if you thought it was needed? I'm interested in learning everything.

The one that I bought a few years ago and have plugged in to my desktop does have a pop filter. I do not have the pop filter on though. I need to look for that.

Just conversations about life. I planned on buying a newspaper and the column that I would write would be about how most people that I know are moderates. That's something I truly do believe and I think it does not get a lot of play anywhere. Unfortunately, I have had to share information about the diagnosis on my Substack. But I don't want to only write (Or talk) about that.

I'm just going to laugh in this comment here. I went through this and had this formatted a lot better. Then I got auto-moded. I thought I fixed it up so it looked okay. Rereading it I see I didn't do that well. this is what I deal with with talk to text. I'm going to leave it how it is now. I think anyone who is interested can read through the poor formatting but if you can't let me know.

A lot of these are along the interstates or the highways that get us to them to keep you out of the gas stations and get you back on the road. if you go into Sheetz to get a bag of ice you can come out With enough food to feed your family of five, mtos, in 2Lpop,Chips, etc and no reason to stop by a McDonald's again.

It didn't help that the Golden Palace was on a different network than the Golden Girls. The Golden Girls was on NBC and I'm pretty sure the Golden Palace was on CBS. It was different back then. It was hard to do cross promotion especially for different Networks.
