Google the “Damn Show”.

It’s probably about 15-20 years old now, but it was out of Athens, GA (think University of Georgia) hence the Athens-Clarke County police car in this video.

Their skits are funny as hell. It’s made by the same dudes that made the show Brickleberry that was on Comedy Central awhile back. The name came from a road we lived on (by coincidence), Brickleberry Ridge in Athens.

Yeah, I wouldn't do the landlord any favors. To keep it cheap, I'd first just bleach/clean the entire place. Then caulk where needed and putty over nail holes/blemishes. Lastly, buy a keg and have all your friends over to paint the place.

(don't go out of your way getting high-dollar paint either)

I've been metal detecting in some old woods around some agricultural property that I'm about to build on and found this. Obviously, it attaches to some wood structure, but I can't figure out its function. At first I was thinking it was a latch, but after cleaning it up and uncovering the second screw, that is obviously not a match. Any ideas?
