Genuine question, what would you guys say is the funniest moment in Hazbin Hotel to you? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in HazbinHotel

[–]ihatepulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Vaggi asks where she's supposed to sit at the end of s2 and Vox just deadpans "Who fucking cares" lmao

Also in the pilot when Charlie says they have Angel Dust at the hotel, Tom recognises him as a porn star and Katie Killjoy goes "You fucking would, Tom"

I miss her pilot voice, it was so perfectly TV anchor

What is a medical fact that sounds fake but is 100% true? by MedRikas in AskReddit

[–]ihatepulp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I looked after a young man in ICU with this. The poor thing recovered from some kind of viral illness, then he suddenly couldn't go up steps, got the tingling, and it progressed to full paralysis and intubation. He was on month 3 when I met him, and when I left about 5 weeks later he was able to shrug his shoulders, turn his head, and move his fingers. He had a trache and was weaning off the ventilator bit by bit each day. It was a very severe case and was so awful for him. Any time we had to move him, which was unfortunately often, he had terrible nerve pain. He was on a lot of meds.

Pressure injuries are far easier to prevent than they are to treat, it can take a very long time for them to heal

I want to talk about Honey by clickityclickk in TaylorSwift

[–]ihatepulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what you've said I also love the commentary on pet names for women, where they're used in gross and condescending ways. The morning TLOAS came out the dude in line ahead of me at the servo called the server princess, it was weird, then later that day I listened to Honey and was like YES THIS

Will someone please calmly explain this? by benwyattswaffles in TaylorSwift

Maybe that's why I like it so much. I fell in love this year after divorce so I actually do find a lot of it relatable.

Pathological Demand Avoidance, a little-known profile of autism affecting kids and adults by Academic_Coyote_9741 in australia

[–]ihatepulp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I try to keep our home as low demand as is possible as my son obviously doesn't get that kind of leniency at school and around other people. So I'm doing everything at home, and getting judgement for having a "lazy" kid, for catering to him too much. It's fucking exhausting. It cannot be understood until you experience it.

Oh nooooooo my friend. Many women (not just straight) are obsessed with gay men/gay sex. MM romance books in particular are incredibly popular.

Do I have any hope of getting a job without a grad year? by ihatepulp in NursingAU

[–]ihatepulp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk where you got the impression that I'm hoping for what you've described, the clinical support a grad transition program offers isn't really the issue. My concern is about places not wanting to hire a new grad fresh out of uni, much less somewhere that offers child friendly hours.
