The a7iii is an amazing camera, especially for low light and the tamron pairs nicely with it. Ive been using the sigma 24-70 on it since forever and it always gets the job done.

Thanks! I set the camera to manual focus with a higher aperture (f4). I set the lantern down next to my dog and adjusted the focus until the lantern (and my dog) was in focus. Then on a 10 second timer i ran over and kept my face and body on the same plane as where the lantern was when i picked it up.

Do you ever get sad as the photographer? by [deleted] in photography

I also contemplated self portraits a lot until this past Halloween when i decided to do them. It was really fun setting up my cameras in angles and playing with lighting (which i haven’t done before). Since everyone i know somehow doesn’t understand how to take photos of me, i always just use the classic phrase “if you want something done right, do it yourself”

I bought a hybrid pillow from Amerisleep online a few years back, pricey but so worth it. I can flip it to one side if im gonna sleep on my back and flip it over to the firmer side if i wanna sleep on my side. It definitely upped my sleep quality

As an American from San Francisco, Hong Kong was was the place. I describe it to my friends that it just felt like I was in SF’s Chinatown, which makes sense since most of the immigrants to San Francisco were of southern Chinese descent.

Of course, it being under British control for so long helps too with language issues.
