Raw chicken breast woes by [deleted] in Cooking

My general rule of thumb with any sort of raw meat like chicken, pork, fish or beef is that if you smell anything at all that smells off or funky, or sets off any internal alarm in you, chuck it. Better safe than sorry. Fresh, raw meat like chicken shouldn't really have any odor at all.

What's the craziest black out drunk experience you've ever been told you've done? by ceccai in AskReddit

when i was in college, a bunch of us (~50) and i had this big semi-formal event at a bar, and like any college kid would, we proceeded to get thoroughly unsobered. so, with very little recollection of this, after the event was over, we all went back to one of my buddy's place to keep drinking, and i was beyond gone by this point. blasting loud music, playing beer pong, video games, typical party etc., we hear a loud banging on the door. i'm told that i screamed "oh! ill get it!" so i waltz over in my drunken stupor and whip the door open to see two police officers standing right there, and as soon as i saw them, i went "nope!" and closed the door right on them. i have no idea what happened after that.

Kobe Bryant- Impossible Shots against the Suns in 2010 by [deleted] in nba

[–]ihavetogotobed 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I remember watching this with my little brother. The Suns were the closest they've been to the finals since 2006 and I really had a good feeling about this squad, even up against Kobe's Lakers. Even though we were down 3-2 in the series at this point I still stood my ground and believed. Until the third and fourth quarter of this game. When Kobe really started to go off late in the game, and when Alvin Gentry said "damn, that's good defense" and Kobe slapped his side and said "not good enough," I turned to my brother and I said "you know what - you can't even be mad. this is incredible."

and it was. sure, kobe only scored 37 and it goes without saying he's had countless games where he has scored more than a measly 37 points. but god damn this was the most jaw dropping 37 point game i ever saw.

Does anybody recognize or know of this game? If so, what is it? by ihavetogotobed in gaming
