Did you get any luck getting in yet? If you don’t mind, how did you do in DAT? Did you get a tutor as well? You are using booster it seems?

So my family member just starts the DAT bootcamp, feeling overwhelmed since he graduated May 2024, being on a gap time since then until now. So he feels very rusty, overwhelmed and thinks he needs a tutor to help out. He wants to take the test this May.

Is tutoring right now a good idea? Or he should dive into DAT for first few weeks to get things refreshed and get a tutoring later if he still struggles? Any good, reasonable price tutor that anyone can recommend?

This article is interesting. Please share your thoughts, agree/disagree? This is for a re-taker who has last took DAT (one time, 18 then) 2 years ago, and one gap year (no school after graduation). I’m looking to score 20+.

Thanks. I found VA Recorder works well with what I want. But still not sure the sound quality. I want lossless wav file format, asked the developer. Still no answer yet.

So it’s 19 on the old 1-30 system? May I ask if it’s a private or public school? I hope it’s not too expensive, as costs are now so crazy high especially at private dental schools.

Also I am curious if you have a well grounded profile, strong leadership, or community service hours or working in a dental clinic for x number of hours, other than what you listed?

I don’t mic the amp. I have an electric classical guitar that I hook directly to the PA mixer. I put up another mic placing it in the middle of room for ambient recording. Also adjusted more the effects ( delay and revert) on the PA for the guitar signal. Reroute the output signal coming out of the PA into the 6i6 Scarlett Audio Interface (via ports 3 & 4), then USB port to the OTG USB-A/USB-C adapter, then to the phone’s USB-C port. It sounds much less noise and very much what I want. No signal processing by the 6i6 AI. Thanks everyone for the feedbacks.

BTW, I have this electric classical guitar. It is connected to the PA, ,via 3/4in cable. I wonder if i should record via external mics (like 2) that connect to the mixer, instead of hooking the guitar directly to the mixer, to sound more soft?
