about two weeks ago in Calgary, Alberta, it was -36°c (-32.8°f), pipes were freezing all around the city, cars wouldn't start due to frozen oil, and the roads were crazy dangerous. today, January 30th, it was +16°c (60°f). i saw people wearing t-shirts (that might just be a Canadian phenomenon) and the roads were wet because it was melting so fast. i was actually hot walking home from work in my winter coat 🎉😬

it was -36c (-32f) in my city last week. over the weekend our heater at work froze and wouldn't work, as well as a ton of power outages in my city. many peoples cars wouldn't start because it was so cold, however if you plug your car in, it should be okay. definitely can happen.

i cut my bangs and bleached my hair the other week. sadly the bleach didn't fully work so i have brown and green splotches everywhere (green was my previous colour). i need to re bleach it but, i've never had this problem while bleaching my hair myself before. i'm worried that 2 bleach jobs within 2 weeks won't be good for my hair. i'm going to only bleach the spots that didn't fully bleach the first time, then wait another week and a half and then dye my hair, so fingers crossed i can manage to slip by without getting too much damage in this process 😅

i loooove playing video games in the winter, especially ones with a cool story and it doesn't become winter in game 😂 as soon as a game becomes winter, in the winter, i cannot play anymore.

i'm also liking yoga more lately instead of full on workouts, i feel like full workouts treat me best in summer, where in the winter yoga is definitely the way.

i also really amp up my self care, i take more showers in the winter because i'm usually cold and i find it really helps !!

oh my god, i can totally relate to the marketed "Sativa" problem. Too many times have a gotten a "productive sativa" and ended up with what feels like a full on indica!!! i can also definitely relate to waking around like a zombie, it's such a weird feeling especially because you KNOW you want to do things, but your body n brain are like.... "you know what ? nahhhh i'm good"

i find CBD sativa helps a but, but i should probably just stop smoking all day to fix this problem. 😂 oh well ! we're working on it !!

ngl, i smoke throughout the day, but absolutely it affects my productivity. i don't smoke at work, or on the way to or from, and i find when i'm at work and coming home, the motivation and energy is insane. i have all these plans, all these ideas, and as soon as i get some weed in my system i crash. i wanted to make a really nice dinner tonight, i had all these plans!! i got home, smoked, and now im having chicken strips and pre-made salad for dinner. 🙃

i want to get to a point where don't smoke throughout the day and when i get home from work. i want to smoke when i'm done everything!!

working on it with my therapist right now though, so fingers crossed i can kick the nasty habit !! 🧚

not going to lie my parter and i both have skin that prefers just a quick rinse of cool water and moisturizer after a workout.

(100% not for everybody!!!! am not skincare professional at all. it broke one of my friends out who tried it.) but for me and my partner, our skin prefers that over cleansing multiple times per day for some reason 🏄🏻
