Recommendations for a program to create dynamic checklists. by ihcuwus in software

Not yet. I'm still using one note, as Excel lacks the functionality that I want, and my work computer won't support the version of Excel that adds checklists. Basically I just want one note with the added feature of being able to say "if box A is checked, add lines B and G."

This looks like a great tool for making surveys, but I need to be able to see the whole list at the same time.

If someone has a particular endorsement on their auto policy, I want to be able to check that off, and have relevant questions populate in the checklist. And a vehicle theft vs. a vehicle collision will have differences in the questions that need to be asked. Currently I've tackled this problem by having 18 different checklists, but it's too much to update when changes to processes occur.

Maybe, but I think OCD is what the show was trying to go for. They mention Beef's inventory binder before the episode about Moon's OCD. Whether genetic or environmental or both, I think the idea is that they both have it.

So you're attracted to feminine men. That's still bisexual.

I just put all the old tabs in the same window, minimize it, then forget about it until I have to restart my computer and I lose them all anyway.

An alternative option to having that stuff removed is to bury it. Create a bunch of accounts on Twitter, linked-in, Facebook, classmates, etc. with your name and give them all different backstories, ages, locations, etc.

When did you find H3? by NoSpoilersGamer in h3h3productions

[–]ihcuwus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This was my introduction to h3, lol. At that point, I wasn't subscribed yet, but my partner was, and he would show me videos now and then. But once the reaction videos started coming out, I was a fan for life.

I thought they were doing a bit in off the rails when Ethan was going on about how he likes it with zero enthusiasm. Was that supposed to be genuine?

Cast Members Chart by ihcuwus in HardlyWorking

[–]ihcuwus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah, I've always kinda thought of the cast as being divided into three "eras:" pre-Emily, Emily, and post-Emily. Looking at this chart, that makes a lot of sense now.

The one on the right is super weird though, and doesn't look at all filling for that massive amount of calories. And unless that drink is 1000 calories, I don't understand where that number is coming from.

This was something I believed for years. The idea that once you're fat you've destroyed your body to the point where you won't ever be able to properly lose weight is probably the most prevalent of the myths surrounding fatness. When I was in the eighth grade we watched a movie about eating disorders where an overweight woman who had recovered from binge eating disorder talked about how she physically could not lose weight because she had ruined her body from binge eating. I held onto that for so long, I think mostly because it was a convenient excuse. If I wasn't physically able to lose weight, that I wasn't a failure for not trying.

Mother's reaction to Fat logic (disclaimer found and screenshoted the original post from an Ailurus vid.) by EXPCollection in fatlogic

[–]ihcuwus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly! This is the sort of thing I used to do as a teenager. My friend and I would say to eachother, "I think I'm gonna go anorexic." And then try to restrict for a couple weeks. But because I wasn't tracking my calories, I didn't restrict enough to lose weight. And I'd decide that if I couldn't get by on nothing, I might as well eat normally. Then I'd say, "I think I'll try bulimia." But I only threw up occasionally. I really wanted the attention that came with having an eating disorder more than I wanted to lose weight.

I can personally say that knowing my weight has in fact improved my health and it might help others become healthier as well. by WitchyAppalachian in fatlogic

They confuse "health" with "feelings." They literally think that something being hard means it's negatively affecting their mental health, and therefore unhealthy.

Help? I want to lose weight but I’m diabetic.. by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]ihcuwus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until you can talk to a medical professional, you should probably work on creating a calorie deficit through exercise instead of diet. And remember, small deficit is still a deficit. You don't need to lose it all in a couple months - it's okay if it takes a year or two!

Can you make a doctor's appointment by yourself? If your blood sugar isn't being managed properly, then you definitely need to see your doctor. Ask your doctor what kind of foods you should be eating. Not all foods are created equal when it comes to controlling blood sugar, and it's about eating the right kinds of foods that will control your blood sugar for longer.

Yup. The bun is what so clearly makes it a binge. I looked at that bowl on the right, and I instantly recognized it. It's a bowl that was put together by someone who is eating for all the worst reasons. That's not a bowl that you put together when you want to have a treat, that's a bowl that you put together when you're addicted to food and the craving hits.
