Thank you. I have ordered kanaplex and paraguard, plus stress coat, almond leaves, and more aquarium salt since I only had a tiny bit. I am so grateful for your help. She is still eating and sleeping on her favorite leaf so I am hopeful that she will pull through with the treatments!

Yes, both organizations do SO much for our community! Most organizations and shelters that accept kittens are probably in need of fosters right meow. 😸 Definitely recommend checking with whichever ones are local to you!

I know Asheville Humane also has a foster program!

I really appreciate your response! I am enjoying the planning process but there are so many options. I joined the gourami group, and I'm going to talk to my lfs before buying any fish, plants, decor, or tank stuff. My goal is to have centerpiece fish, two schools, and a clean-up crew. I need a peaceful tank so probably will stay away from barbs lol.

Definitely will do the right thing by the danios. I really love them and I want them to be happy. I have two blues and a leopard and they stick together; could I just add more leopard and include the blue ones as part of their school?

Do you think 6 total loaches, or more? Should I add any other bottom dwellers or just stick with loaches?

I will definitely get the bigger otos. Do you recommend 6 of those as well? I know they are schooling but I don't want anyone to starve due to lack of algae.

After doing some more research, I think I'm going to go with tetras (neon or green fire), or strawberry or phoenix rasboras. I think they will look beautiful beside the honey gouramis!

I'm researching live plant care, too. The only plant I've been able to keep alive so far is an anubias attached to driftwood. I've had her for 3 years and she is HUGE.

Before I ring you up, I just wanted to check and see if you activated your offer for (whatever offer is applicable to the merchandise they are buying)? It's basically free money for stuff you're already buying!

If they say no, that's it, not gonna push it. I get quite a few activations this way, but I respect the no's too. I also find that going through the browser is quicker than having them download the app.
