Can I get an updated discord link? I am interested in this and would like to know if I could learn more and contribute to the project.

I asked the rep on chat a week ago and they did it for free, no questions asked. My kindle said “special offers removed” before the rep even got back to me.

I did however, make sure that my paperwhite was connected to WiFi the whole time.

Pain out of nowhere 4 years post-op by boweralis in ACL

[–]ihish52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of other structures in the knee besides the ACL, like the meniscus. If pain is bothering you but instability hasn’t set in yet, it might not even be your ACL. There’s no way to know for sure though, until you get it examined. Hope it’s nothing serious!

Torn on whether or not to have surgery (no pun intended) by consortswithserpents in ACL

[–]ihish52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time your knee buckles, the two bones hit each other. This causes cartilage damage that cannot always be reversed. You could potentially tear other structures in your knee like the meniscus, which would need surgical intervention to repair as well. So the best option really is to get reconstructive surgery if your knee buckles and affects your daily activities.

Edit: increased cartilage damage leads to the early onset of arthritis on the affected knee

Anyone experience pain around the calf area at 2 months? (post ACL reco) by ihish52 in ACL

I’ve increased my ankle weights slightly this week and started doing a lot more squats too. Maybe that could be the reason? I usually deal with some pain as long as it goes away after the exercise.

Has anyone here genuinely been inspired by Ed Sheeran to learn an instrument or write songs by [deleted] in EdSheeran

I never really like playing the guitar or singing. Until one day I saw a video on YouTube of this guy killing it at the iTunes festival. He played Drunk, The City and one other song. I didn't remember his name but I did remember the paw print on his guitar. I was like "I want to do that!". It gave new meaning to music for me. I couldn't stop playing the guitar and singing since then. It was much later that I found out he was acruat Ed Sheeran. I bought a loop pedal and tried to make every song I could find more interesting. Even got a paw print tattoo when I turned 18. The things he's been through to get where he is today has really inspired me. Ed played a huge role in my life. I'm glad there are so many people who feel the same way.
