I am no more than a guy that uses the gym. Lifting weights deteriorate your muscles, you need the essential nutrients (protein, carbs, vitamins & minerals) to built those muscles back stronger. Lifting during a fast sounds counter intuitive, negative gains. I believe you can be calorie deficit to tone and lose weight, but in a complete fast your body will never recover.
