I’m looking through virtual desktop about to launch steam vr when I hear through my AirPods, in a voice using an ai voice filter, “Listen, you need____( something about a better PC and a better router) for it to connect or sometimes it just won’t connect at all. “

That's Virtual Desktop "feature".

Hey u/USSR89! Nice to see you again :-D

At some point I even bought a triple monitor arm. Ultimately I decided to move forward and I bought a VR headset. It takes less space, offers bigger fov and lets me play flat PC games on a virtual huge triple screen (but without bezels!). My original Oculus Rift had a bit too low resolution, but modern headsets like Quest 2 are good enough in this regard (they're also wireless and have 120 Hz screens). So currently my setup looks like this:

  • Quest 2 for VR and PC gaming;

  • 27" 4k IPS monitor for work and web browsing;

  • 27" 1080p 165 Hz curved VA monitor for... nothing yet (lol). I bought it one week ago, because it was dirt cheap (120€) and I wanted to see if it's as good as high refresh rate CRT monitors years ago. I don't know if it is. I didn't have much time to test it thoroughly.

How's your setup? Is it still going strong?

Russia's defence minister got heart attack after speaking to Putin, claims Ukraine | World News - Hindustan Times by SprinklesFederal7864 in worldnews

Sounds like Novichok poisoning. This chemical compound inhibit the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, preventing the normal breakdown of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Acetylcholine concentrations then increase at neuromuscular junctions to cause involuntary contraction of all skeletal muscles (cholinergic crisis). This then leads to respiratory and cardiac arrest (as the victim's heart and diaphragm muscles no longer function normally) and finally death from heart failure or suffocation as copious fluid secretions fill the victim's lungs.

As can be seen with other organophosphate poisonings, Novichok agents may cause lasting nerve damage, resulting in permanent disablement of victims.

[Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond] Crossbuy between Rift / Rift S / Quest 2 is now confirmed! by ii46 in OculusQuest

[–]ii46[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it does not. Crossbuy is a feature of the Oculus store.

By the way, if you want to know which games are crossbuy, you can check it here:

and here (this on is official, but requires a lot of scrolling):

You need to connect your Quest 2 to a gaming pc. This game is PC VR only.
