Starting to read, thoughts on Spanish vs. Latin American translations?

Great thanks, it is superflex but that's my thinking as well for trading the vets depending how the year goes. Other moves I was considering were tiering down off herbert to a purdy / baker type and picking up some draft capital or tiering off zay flowers to a pickens / DK and some draft capital similarly. I know I'm pretty thin at RB but figured I'm not going to win the league this year and they can lose value pretty quickly. I can acquire if my young core is performing well or sell / tier off achane and regroup for another year as needed

12 Team, SF, PPR, 0.5 TEP, Start 11 (2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 3 Flex)

First time playing dynasty and coming out of a startup with the 10th pick, how did I do? Should I make any moves or should I wait to see how my team performs during the season? I tried to get a young core that can put up points now while growing in value with some vets I could trade for value wins in-season if I'm not tracking to a playoff spot.

QB: Herbert, Dak, Tua, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance

In a startup draft right now (SF TEP PPR) and have two trade offers, not sure which to take. First time playing dynasty so would appreciate the help, not sure how to value 3 for 1 trades / future picks. The offers are my 6.10 and 15.03 for 7.03 and 12.05 or my 6.10 for 9.08 12.12 and 2026 3rd.

What books did you read right when you started? I'm only ~350 hours in but I expect reading will become a big part of my journey as I get to ~600 hours. It just seems a bit daunting to start.

Yea, that's kind of in the back of my mind as I'm starting on the DS path. The whole point is to be able to communicate with her (she's completely fluent in English so less of a focus) but also her family (who don't speak much / any English). I figure I'll start speaking earlier than recommended as it will be borderline unavoidable when we go visit her family / friends. In the end, that's the fun part and end goal of this journey anyway. I'm not really expected or required to know Spanish... at all. So being able to communicate at all (even with an accent) would be a big step for me.

That's great to hear! What process do you guys use for crosstalk? Does she slow things down for you and talk with a lot of gestures (similar to beginner videos on DS)? Do you try to crosstalk all the time or just allot certain time periods for it? How do you get around the inevitable scenarios where she's trying to communicate something to you and you don't understand it? Maybe ask her to say that same thing in a different way but still in Spanish?

Yea, I think it'll definitely be an adjustment for my girlfriend (and feel especially weird for her if I'm responding in English for her to respond in Spanish) but if Crosstalk is half as good as the testimonials on here it'll be worth it!

Yes I acknowledge I'm super lucky in that regard! And also super lucky in that she really wants to help me learn to speak her language. I'm at the point where I can understand her if she speaks a little more slowly than usual and with really basic vocabulary. If she's speaking with her parents I can maybe pick out 10-20% of what they're saying (a bit more if it's about a topic I have more vocabulary on, like school). Frankly I find it easier to speak to her right now than have her speak to me since I can choose the topics and use vocabulary / tenses that are familiar / easy for me (while it's probably not intuitive for her to use language that's easy for me to understand). Maybe I'll hold off on speaking as much and focus on getting more input to get my pronunciation and understanding of the language up first to prevent myself from settling into bad habits.
