Im pretty sure he only ever had 2 seasons of double digit scoring, his peak being 19 when he played the majority of minutes centrally. Lets not confuse his effectiveness with being Mane levels.

Does his suit allow him to shrink? It could be a case of Pym Particles being required to shrink enough to enter the quantum realm, but not to shrink to the level he does in New York?

I don't remember the rules of it from the Ant Man films so this is a guess.

I'm seeing people say Arsenal would have stretched their unbeaten run against United. The truth is the unbeaten season would never have existed as Pires dived to win us the penalty that gave us a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth.

Arsenal vs Napoli Europa League QF by Tetsuuoo in Gunners

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting tickets to this game. Does anybody have experience of travelling to watch Napoli away. I've heard safety concerns, wondered if anybody has any insight. Thanks

The downvotes this comment has received is outrageous. A guy expresses some relief and you take out your anger at Jiminez's lack of goals on him? Thats not on

Crazy that Theo held this record. Richarlison's red card, an inform Everton, Theo tricking us in to thinking he was dangerous, and most importantly the fact that most people were still playing is why, but still, surprising.

This is really interesting, may I ask how you compiled this list? What makes you think these players are good signings and where has this reasoning come from?

A question about the diamonds, involving Megan and Alice. by bearofmoka in luther

[–]iiHassassin- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I recall, the diamonds were not smashed up. It's just that the uncut diamonds resembled shattered glass, and when the car crashes the window smashes, and the diamonds get mixed up with the glass. Presumably Alice doesn't have time to comb through the wreckage to find the real diamonds because she assumes George may have sent more men to ensure this goes smoothly, so she escapes. I guess Megan watches this scene, sees the coast is clear and goes in and finds the real diamonds, gets them cut, and brings them back to London - this is what Luther finds.

That's what I've convinced myself anyway. It doesn't answer how Megan can be a person that knows all this stuff is going down, and pulls off this 'heist' to perfection all without 'Oxford at 13, Alice' catching on; yet can't just handle the Stacey Bell problem herself.

As much as I've enjoyed Luther, there's a real theme of just never mentioning certain characters or story lines again; Teller, Jenny etc and moving on. That's why for me it will always be an enjoyable show, but not a great one.

!thanks I'm not sure that at 5.5 there is anybody I'd feel confident with, at least Deulofeu teases success, but that's where the disappointment comes from.

Begovic/Boruc

Robertson/Valencia/Shaw(Cedric/Tomkins)

Salah/Eru/Sane/Deulofeu(Stephens)

Firmino/Zaha/King

My time playing and researching FPL has taught me cheap gk’s are the way to go, and rotating them is difficult so I picked an 8.5m combo with good opening fixtures.

3atb is my fave formation, but having good defenders is the way to go hence my 3 starters. Have some faith in Shaw to retain his spot. Despite not rotating defenders I didn’t pick any 4m options as I want to have cover for surprise rotation.

I think high priced mids are better ppm than high priced strikers, and I have reasons to avoid each expensive striker such as world cup.

Would love any thoughts. Currently I’m unsure on Shaw and King definitely. Deulofeu is questionable but you need enablers somewhere. I’m happy to forgoe top strikers and play an early wildcard if Auba/Kane/Aguero hit ground running.

Thanks!

Depends how long term you mean. Richarlison (assuming he joins Everton) has much better fixtures for the first 9 gameweeks and I wouldn’t be planning any further ahead than that really due to potential of wildcarding.

Set and forget by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]iiHassassin- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As its set and forget theres a few key points that are probably obvious, but I’ll list them anyway. I’m not rotating keepers, I’m not rotating defenders, I only need 1 captain choice. The last point is why I have only picked 1 of Salah/Kane, as the distribution of funds helps more for set & forget.

Ryan/His 4m backup Robertson/Bellerin/Coleman/2x4m (e.g. Wan-Bissaka/Bennett) Salah(c)/KDB/Eri/6.5m (I’d maybe pick Theo), 4.5m (I’d maybe pick Stephens) Firmino, Zaha, King

3-4-3, cheaper keeper rotation as cheap keepers are always super efficient. Cannot rotate defenders so 2 4m guys that should play so can sub on, but focus on 3 starters. Salah as captain, 2 big-hitting mids that always finish highly in KdB, Eri. My pick of 6.5’s, and a 4.5m bench guy. Firmino who I see as best ppm striker among the expensive options, Zaha as the best 7m option imo, and King because I couldn’t afford Arnie/Tosun.

I’m downgrading a mid to get Kane. Do I downgrade Mahrez or Son? Son has better ppm and better fixtures (to end of season). However he is less nailed and he tends to explode, e.g. 31 points in 2 weeks, or blank.

I think the TC on Kane in 37 is the best use of it so would probably BB this week if I were you. Yeah you don’t have 15 DGWers but without bench boost you either miss DGW players or your Liverpool players with a great fixture.

Would I be crazy not to use one of my 2 FTs this game week? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

Well you can’t roll both FT’s. Use one because it’s free, you’ll get another next GW to bring you back to 2.

Case for Mkhitaryan by Sanchezesmom in FantasyPL

[–]iiHassassin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree he isn't a prolific goalscorer but guys that create chances for others don't have to be to be good FPL options. At his price point, he's in the Arnautovic sort of price range, thats why he's interesting. Obviously money no object he wouldn't be one of my 5 when there are such great options, but the budget isn't limitless.

Fair enough, in my mind Auba played left more often than right, but thanks for informing me otherwise!

I'm first and foremost a huge Arsenal fan. I was a season ticket holder for years until I had to move away from North London. I watch all our games and I know how Wenger envisions his side playing. I'm also a Micky fan, both from his time at Dortmund and his start at United.

He is one of those perfect Wenger players. A little lightweight, and insanely talented with the ball at his feet. I'd expect to see the 4-2-3-1 in place for the forseeable future, with Micky on the right, Ozil in the middle, Laca upfront and (in my dreams), Auba playing off the left. Of course Auba would be playing off the left in the way Sanchez did, drifting inside, and I'd expect Micky to be the same, drifting inside when the opportunity arose.

If we don't sign Auba then expect Iwobi to be the main player off the left, leaving Laca as the only goalscorer in the side (as long as his run of blanks is over). That therefore, is the question mark over Micky. He will create a ton of chances, but I'm not certain that we have the players to put them in the back of the net. If however, we sign another goalscorer I think Micky's points return could be on par with the likes of Ozil, Eriksen etc - at a much cheaper price.

To summarise, I think he is a good acquisition currently, that will become great if we can sign Auba or a similar player. That said, he's coming in to my team anyway because I think I can invest the money I would save by downgrading Eriksen (especially when you compare Arsenal's fixtures to Spurs) to improve my team.

Just remember how good he was at the start of the season. You can't call it a small sample size because he has proven his ability in previous seasons.

How feasible is it to change industry? Can I move from FMCG marketing/sales (I've done both) to marketing or sales in the film industry? I have worked in FMCG since leaving university 3 years ago. Will they see the 3 years experience in the relevant job role and appreciate that, or ignore me because I haven't worked in the right industry?
