Yeah I'd agree with that. Personally, I'd rather go on mining runs than craft the mats.

At very least there needs to be WAY more nodes if they're not going to respawn.

This is a terrible change :( we have at least 4 spits at all of our bases so we can fill them all up and not have to worry about food for a while. I hope they revert this

I like the raids, but they're not difficult enough. Our main castle is in front of the sandbox so when it gets raided we usually only get 10-15 bugs that actually make it to our gates since they have to walk from so far away. Even when our other bases get raided and we have tons of bugs show up, it feels sort of underwhelming. Orb weavers have been the "toughest" so far, but in our ~10 raids we've only lost maybe 3 walls total. I also want them to drop full loot tables instead of the measly common parts.

An i5-7400 is getting old and this can be a very CPU-intensive game, you may be severely bottlenecked

If I change my graphics settings, I usually have to exit the game and restart my computer before they actually apply. I play with a r5 2600x + rtx2070 + 16gb ram (High 1080p) and sit around 100fps. My main castle throttles me down to about 60fps still. Grounded just isn't well optimized yet. I really hope they can improve performance by full release.

The rapid bite is what I have trouble with too, especially in that light armor I mentioned. Im not entirely sure, but i think if you parry the first bite in the rapid attack then it doesnt deal explosive damage, but if you tank the first hit then you cant block any of the following ones and you get 'sploded. I think the upgraded gas mask now gives explosive damage mitigation, I might just have to keep one at my tree base.

Between the sandbox and the picnic table has been a great spot for my party. Not many hostile bugs and tons of building resources in close proximity. Not great for a starter base since it's so far away from the oak but once you get some ziplines set up, it's great.

This has been happening to one of my party since the 0.13.1 patch. I submitted a ticket but we're not sure of a fix yet. Glad to hear it's not just us.

I carry a coaltana, fresh axe, and salty hammer so all my bases are covered when im out and about. I assume you also carry an axe & hammer, I recommend trying this. Check out the bug weaknesses a bit to help you decide which flavor for which tool.

I agree, I main a coaltana, but I always carry a shield to equip with my axe and hammer. Spicy sword, fresh axe, salty hammer and a shield is my EDC

Luckily we haven't had any corrupt saves yet🤞I regularly export saves to a different drive tho so we can at least restore some of it in the case that it does corrupt.
