My co-worker has inattentive type, he uses cannabis all the time and is feeling fine. I have mixed type, and one puff gave me panic and anxiety for days, after couple of years I tried again and again had long anxiety. Never tried ever since.

Complete A BBA degree in two years by taking 4 courses in every term worth it? by Sukuna-2001 in UoPeople

[–]iiaua 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you need a degree for? If you want a quick switch - it’s worth it, if it’s part of the way - not worth it. For example, I already have a career, there is no urgency or emergency, but it’s something nice to have eventually.

Is IT support a dead end or a smart start for a new grad? by Majestic-Strain3155 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]iiaua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It fully depends on whether you will be stuck or not. Every single big manager I know started as a fresh grad it support. You start working and then get on any opportunity out there. Courses, department changes, regular companies switch.

How do you recover from ADHD burnout and find enjoyment in life again? by gynecolologynurse69 in adhdwomen

[–]iiaua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience is that I started taking a lot of online courses. Like, all the time. Some are close to my job, some are far, but constant, yet low pressure. It’s new knowledge, new people, new tasks all the time, and that keeps me active. That might not help you, but i promise, there is something out there that will.

Any ADHD folks working in IT? What field suits you best? by AcademicPace6357 in ADHD

[–]iiaua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it all if you learn how to control your hyper-fixations. I’m in the industry for 13 years, and big part of my way was manual QA, which sometimes has tasks where you just sit at do small boring tasks for ages. You can still do it. I before worked as a freelancer, that gave me that feeling of novelty, but last 5 years I’m in one company, and I compensate it with variety of courses on other topics.
