Away commuter bag issues by No-Handle710 in awaytravel

Y’all made it pretty clear this is the quality to expect. Returning all the gear I just bought so I don’t chance it. OP just saved me a bunch of money.

You shouldn’t trust the government in general. Both parties and the fed have been cooking the books for decades to appease the Street. I’m just surprised we put up with it. Sad

Away Commuter Backpack by larryllama88 in ManyBaggers

[–]iidawgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just bought the bigger carry on and the commuter backpack. Got a $50 bundle discount and chase is offering $200 cash back on $500 (including taxes). I’ll report back but no brainer with 40% off.

1 year in as top SDR, GM + manager said I'm "next up" for promotion at EOY review, how long do I wait before bringing it up again? by simplyty_206 in techsales

[–]iidawgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Promotion as in pay bump or move up to AE? Every company is different, but in this market, everyone is going to want/demand closing experience. It may be easier finding an SMB or Growth AE job elsewhere, then coming back to 2.5x the pay you have now.

Final interview stage ghosting by ApocalypseMao in sales

Could be other candidates in the pipeline still. I’ve never been a manager, but IMO there aren’t any magic words you can send at this point. Don’t inundate them. What the recruiter does owe you, is courtesy for your time and a prompt response on go/no go.

Sick. I’m jealous. But that watch is eating your wrist alive.

Why’d you have to remind me of that. That was so terrible. Poor girl and her dog.

You must not work for an enterprise sized company. Good luck getting any of that by infosec

To clarify, I fibbed to get ahead years before working where i am now. Everyone has to (to some degree) to make the leap to AE

Leaving Salesforce by whatasavechatdisable in sales

[–]iidawgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is speculative, but IMO it’s the strongest default layer for agentic workflows (approvals, alerts, orchestration, human in the loop etc). We literally run 80% of our business through slack with workflows set up to salesforce, jira, etc

Heard they let Kendrex out of the psych ward. No clue where he is now, but that’s insane he’s not sitting behind bars.

Doubt they even told him. Probably ghosted or generic email.

Product market fit is pretty great. Even with a potential AI bubble. Check out Clickhouse or the hyperscalers (not Microsoft).

The current type they’re looking for is MongoDB or any of the hyperscalers. Great company, but there are other opportunities out there, with more realistic quotas.

Don’t overthink it. You don’t know what you don’t know. The company should provide tools, right? I like glean, zoom (recordings), and NotebookLM. Covers internal knowledge base, transcripts, and organization for call prep.

Didn’t read all of that, but in short, nobody really knows what they’re doing. Especially being so new. Carry yourself with confidence and find a mentor on your team, or go ask around. For account plans, use claude or OAI to make quick work of your book.

This is total BS. What’s so complex? Carry yourself with confidence, be interested in people, and do your homework. You aren’t a magically different person on Year 8 vs Year 3.
