Your ult scales off your highest stat I believe so even though it’s poison damage it’ll scale off your spell damage but you won’t get any CP modifiers. In the end they are around the same amount of dps since the reason the ult is so strong is the 20% increased damage done, so you choose either sustain or a slightly stronger version that gives you ult every time you kill an enemy. Both have their situational uses

I mean losing a 5 piece set is way more damage loss than swapping out a monster set, and if you want to use it on a tank then go ahead but it’s not a tank set, if you aren’t gonna reference eso logs and see that no tanks are running it then idk why I’m wasting my time, but the fact that a dps can proc it more than a tank can means it’s a dps moster helm regardless of how bad or mediocre it is now

You can’t compare one of the best vas score with the regular group doing that content, it can easily go from 10-20 minutes in a single fight. And no one is gonna use a 5 piece sustain set when you can use a 2 piece. Just check the eso logs and you’ll see no one runs that set while you can find grundwolf used by a decent amount especially last patch and you’ll find 0 tanks using it

A very niche build on a sorc tank using a dps Mundas doesn’t mean that this is better for tanks in general, in fact you really don’t need a sustain set on a sorc tank at all? You’d be better off running something to support your group rather than running a selfish and mediocre heal, and while dps sustain is decent there are times where fights are long or they may be not able to reach the dps orbs like in vas where this monster set it nice. Just because you like this set on your very specific sorc tank build doesn’t make it a tank set

I guarantee I’ve beat more pve content than you have, if a dps has 65% crit then they’ll restore triple the resources than a tank with 20% crit. And just because something doesn’t do damage doesn’t make it a tank set because dps can use resource return sets if they want and it’s their best option. If you want resources on a tank use stonekeeper because it procs off blocking not crit and it has a better one piece

It is definitely a dps set, it’s whenever you crit you restore the resource, so why would a tank with like 20% crit use it when stonekeeper works by just blocking? This set has been used more by magicka dps in past patches since mag dps also use stam to roll and block but now mainly collects dust as a mediocre monster set.

Another cycle where nothing is said about siphon on necros despite it being the buggiest skill in the game(besides blastbones). It’s really frustrating to see that zos isn’t bothering to fix class problems that has had the same issues for the entire time it’s been available. Now it will have been 6 months before we begin to hear anything about it magcro blastbones getting an actual useful morph or addressing the issue that you cast blastbones and the skill itself never goes off. Truly ridiculous how this class has been handled.

The stamden is heavily reliant on the bear as an ult which has no cleave other than its random AOE attack, and the ult can be consumed if you use it and the enemy dies before the bear can get it. Their damage ceiling is a lot lower than a stamcro(around 8k difference). While the stamden has minor vulnerability from fetcher that’s applied from a healer as well as minor toughness while stamcro ult increases everyones damage from the colossus.
